FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Actually, I do not have a complicated pricing system at all. I typically offer massage at one dollar per minute. If I come to your home or hotel, you must pay a $25 outcall fee in addition to the massage fees. I do offer discounts to senior citizens and returning military personnel. As a veteran myself, I am honored to offer veterans a discount.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
As a licensed therapist, and a nationally certified massage therapist, continuing education is required by the state and the national organization who certifies me. I have been re-certified every 4 years since my initial certification in 2002. I am also a Certified Healing Touch Practitioner. This additional certification requires additional studies and experience. I continue to be current by participating in group training sessions.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
People who need to relax are my primary massage clients. Patients who are about to undergo surgery, or who have recently had surgery are my typical clients for healing touch. I often have senior citizen clients who need to be touched to maintain good health. Particularly folks who are alone, touch is vital to survival. Just as it is to a newborn, a senior citizen also needs human touch in order to maintain good health.
