I hired Rob end of last summer for my 4 month old lab...everything we learned with Rob has worked great. Porter completely listens to the magic word and he reacts with no hesitation. I highly recommend Rob to train your pup!!Mar 14, 2018Verified
Rob was very knowledgeable and great with my Shepard mix. During the free hour consultation, he showed he really knew his stuff. Unfortunately I got myself into a rut financially so couldn't make full use of his services, but I definitely will again when I get into a better position. I definitely recommend giving him a shot.Sep 4, 2017Verified
We can not thank Rob enough for completely changing our dog!!! Kendrick, our 3 and a half year old pointer/terrier mix was having lots of issues with being aggressive, lunging and pulling on the leash towards other dogs and being anxious in our house especially when we had guests. Kendrick could not get within a block of another dog without having a full on break down - barking, pulling, and jumping. After a year of trying to walk him while we lived in an apartment we finally decided to try training. We found Rob and he offered a free home consultation so we had him come over to meet with Kendrick. Rob really took the time to explain his process and what he thought could be going on with Kendrick. We opted for 5 lessons. After the first lesson Rob had me walking Kendrick near other dogs and he wasn't reacting at all. He taught me how to have Kendrick walk right by my side. After he introduced Place and helped us strengthen our other commands we noticed huge changes in Kendrick. He was happier and playing more plus I was able to walk him without him reacting negatively to dogs. We were able to have Kendrick stay in place when we had guests over and it helped his anxiety tremendously. The final test was Rob bringing his own dog to our house - something I thought Kendrick would never be able to do. Kendrick passed with flying colors. He was able to lay down and even took a nap while Jarvis chilled near by him. Rob was super helpful - taking the time to train me as well and respond to all of my questions even if it was after a lesson. We can't thank Rob enough for helping our dog overcome his anxiety and fear!!!Aug 31, 2017Verified
My dog has been having some separation issues since I moved. Rob spent about 30 minutes talking to me on the phone, and came out for a free 1 hr consultation. He provided some training tips that have already been super helpful. He actually told me my dog was picking everything up really quickly, and he told me he's not sure that I need to pay a bunch of money for training. I really appreciated the honesty and not trying to sell me on expensive services like others. Really impressed with his work and integrity!Oct 1, 2017Verified
Our 10-year old dog Linus has intermittent rage issues that are likely a result of his breeding - however, Rob was able to help us deprogram that aggressiveness through reinforcing Linus' role in our family. That translated in lots of learning and training for us as dog owners more than our dog actually. At first, the interventions were very difficult for us, but over time, the differences in his behavior showed us how important it was to make the changes. The old adage "you can't teach an old dog new tricks" has been disproven several times over thanks to Rob's expertise and patience. If this style of training can work for Linus, then it can work for any dog.Sep 22, 2017Verified
