Steve was a pleasure to work with, reasonably priced, quality craftsmanship, we'd use him again in a heartbeat!Jun 28, 2018Verified
Responsive and good value for work but wish attention to detail a bit stronger. We had several areas that needed repair and one would have been overlooked had I not been home and shingles were left on grass after job and even though found them same day they killed our grass - we have two spots were grass is completely burned out.Jun 23, 2018Verified
Steve served as our roofing consultant, and made a reasonable recommendation. He provided real-time information on project progress. He was flexible with scheduling, and stands behind the quality of his work. I recommend Sunrise to others!Jun 19, 2018Verified
The guys from Sunrise were polite and efficient. A father and son team came to inspect the area in need of repair. They offered a prompt quote and came back a couple of hours later and did the job. Overall experience was excellent.May 24, 2018Verified

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?I don't think it's complicated but I've been doing it for years. The cost of a roof is figured by these item's the number of layers you remove, the kind of material used in the replacement, the height of the structure and the steepness of the slope.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?First I ask them to message me their phone number, if they haven't viewed my profile I ask them to do that. I will set an appointment if it's a roof replacement, I will have satellite measurements and two or three different estimates with different materials and prices for them to view. I'll discuss colors and have them narrow it down to a couple then bring actual shingle for them to see. The colors on the Ipad are close and the same with color samples, but there is no replacement for the actual shingle. The reason is that shingle are manufactured in different plants and the colors although they have same name may not be from the plant that supplies our area.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I am required to do eight hours annually of Continuing Education to keep my Johnson County Kansas license. I am required to do the same to keep my HAAG certification and every five years I have to take a two day class. I have also taken time to become a certified installer with GAF. They are the worlds largest provider of roofing materials.
