Derrick was the DJ for our wedding on 12/20/2014. We had a great time at our event, and the dance floor was full throughout the evening. He did a great job of working with us before the event, and played all of the requests from our guest. Derrick was also very helpful in guiding us through the events of the night. I would definitely recommend him for your event.
I hired Diamond Girls as bartenders for my October 20th wedding reception and they were outstanding. I wish I could remember both of the girls names because they were so friendly and professional. I would highly recommend hiring Diamond Girls! Mary, the owner, was very prompt with communication every step of the way and answered all of those nervous-bride questions with understanding and clarity. Diamond Girls is the best of the best! Let me just start out by saying this company is AMAZING!!!!!! I cannot even imagine what my wedding day would have been like if I didn't have her on hand. I hired Ms.K as a Day-Of wedding coordinator, so we really didn't work together too much until the day of. In that package, I got two meetings with her prior to my wedding. The meetings are utilized however you like, and whenever you like. I used my first meeting to get an opinion on a lot of things I was undecided about, such as how to address our parents on our invitations since my parents are divorced and my dad is remarried, etc, it was very complicated. She also gave me outstanding references for where to get invitations and also for my hair and makeup. The week of the wedding, she contacted all of my vendors and pulled together a timeline. Since I was extremely stressed out that week, I got very sick and could not get out of bed. Ms.K took over and coordinated all the last minute details for me- the trolley, the photographer, videographer, the DJ, etc. The DJ was something we were really worried about because he kept giving us a hard time about loading at our reception site. (Our reception was at the Crystal Tea Room in Philadelphia). Ms.K handled him perfectly. The day of the wedding, a lot of things happened- I needed someone to pin on a piece of my crystal beaded sash onto my bouquet- that was K first task and she handled it with such ease, then my veil was too heavy for my hair, so it kept pulling my hair down and she kept re-pinning it for me, one of the buttons was sewn too loosely at the train of my dress so it became very difficult to bustle me, but she was able to pin it and then re-pin it later on in the night after my husband stepped on my dress, there was another wedding with a very similar sounding last name as ours who had a trolley at the same hotel as us, and there was a mixup with where our booze went, K was able to take care of that and contact the groomsmen to figure out what happened, got off the trolley and brought us a new case of beer. She was so wonderful and helpful, I couldn't of imagined a better wedding planner. My only wish was that I hired her as a full-time planner instead of a day-of coordinator because I moved to Paris two weeks after my honeymoon, so I was super stressed throughout the entire engagement. I highly, HIGHLY recommend Ms. K, she is the best planner out there.
L & L Event Bartending did my wedding reception in September 2015. My husband and I could not be happier with their service. Their price was beyond reasonable. They willingly picked up ice for us so we wouldn't have to worry about it the day of the wedding. They went above and beyond what could be expected by helping out wherever needed. They were courteous to our guests and did everything with a smile. They were knowledgable on drinks. We had people comment on our bartenders during the reception and after. There are not enough words to describe how pleased I was with L & L Event Bartending. I HIGHLY recommend them to anyone and will be referring my friends and family to them, as well!

Working with Top Shelf Bartending for my wedding was amazing. They are a very professional company and know how to keep the party flowing. The lines were never very long and were quickly worked though. The prices are very affordable. If I ever have a large function again I will definitely be using Top Shelf!

Being very Type-A, I had no intention of hiring a coordinator. But the more time and money we invested, we realized a coordinator would act like insurance for our day and make sure everything we planned was properly executed. It would be worth it so that my mother, MOH, and I could simply enjoy the day worry-free. We spent a lot of time reading reviews and interviewing, but my MOH and I knew within minutes of meeting Brennan that we had to hire her. Her enthusiasm, attention to detail, passion, and dedication, far exceeded the other coordinators we met with who had been in the business for many years. The energy we saw in the first meeting held strong through additional meetings, the rehearsal night and the entire wedding day. They always arrived early, never nickel-and-dimed us for each thing they did, and they never made us feel like we had limited time with them. They worked with us to create a timeline that included every single detail, making sure it always reflected our vision. If they thought everything we were trying to fit in was crazy, we never knew it because they were determined to make our dream happen! They made sure all of our vendors worked together and on time, that we got in all of the activities planned (even when we had to rearrange timing due to weather), and made sure everything from the room flip to a traveling photo shoot, from a surprise appearance by Sluggerrr to a perfect sparkler send-off at the end, all were perfectly executed. They divided and conquered like a well-oiled machine, seamlessly communicating between three coordinators through headsets, making sure nothing was missed in the preparations and always communicating with me, providing expertise through every decision. I couldn’t believe how well they were able to take my car loads of boxes and assemble all of our decorations with little direction. These ladies were designers after all, and it showed! They were sure to keep the wedding party fed, hydrated and on time through the getting-ready process, and their emergency kit came in handy so many times. Brennan even knew exactly what to do when I had a fainting spell coming on right before walking down the aisle--she had me take a quick seat, chug a Sprite, and talked through my nerves. The As You Wish team had everything exactly where it needed to be when it needed to be there; they even serviced our wedding party throughout dinner! Brandon and I were always their priority, we never went hungry and always had our drink of choice in hand. They even did an alcohol run when our bar ran out of our signature drink. The list of everything they did for us on our big day is so long, I cannot imagine how long it would be if we included the things we never even KNEW they did! We had so many elements coming together on our wedding day. Guests are still telling us how it was one of the most detailed weddings they have ever been to, and there is no way our vision could have been executed so perfectly without the As You Wish team. I would hire them a million times over and I’m genuinely excited for all of the future brides (and grooms!) who will have the honor of working with this incredible team.
Blake gave us a very affordable price to do my wedding. Blake was on time and he was very friendly. My only complaint was he should have been tending the bar the entire event, there were multiple times I noticed he left the bar to flirt with the caterer.

I am a holiday and special event professional bartender available for the greater Kansas City, Kansas and Missouri locations. I am sharp, witty, funny, handsome and with great appearance in addition to being prompt and knowledgeable. I can assist with par levels, and ordering for an additional consulting fee. Services involve being a former nationwide TIPS trainer (alcohol awareness and liability), set up, service, and breakdown of bars. I also have a couple of people that I use should you need food or buffet servers for $15/hr. I charge $20 per hour for events with a four hour minimum, half of which is due at booking time (non-refundable) in case of cancellation. Cash payment is preferred and gratuities are appreciated. I have countless years of experience at various upscale homes, offices, restaurants and hotels throughout the Kansas City area. Once again, there are consulting services available, and be prepared to pay a $40-$50 deposit at the time of booking. A simple one paragraph contract will be issued at that time for your security. You will also be presented with my liquor card and food handlers card with all of the necessary numbers for verification. A 72-hour advance notice is preferred but no less than 48 hours.
