LaTasha James helped coordinate my sister's wedding at The Bauer event space in Kansas City, MO. She helped all day long from at least 11am to 12am. She helped set everything up all along with a smile on her face. LaTasha is way underpaid for the amount of work she does. LaTasha went above and beyond. I was the only bridesmaid but I didn't have a bouquet, so LaTasha decided she would make me one out of some leftover flowers. The bouquet was gorgeous!! The quality of work was excellent. If 15 different people asked her to do something specific she was right on top of it, no problem. She didn't bat an eye or question anything. Her assistant was only around for 4 hours but I mostly saw LaTasha running around like crazy! Not exactly sure what the assistant helped with. The only thing LaTasha needs is an assistant and way better pay. She is underpaid for what she does and having an assistant as awesome as she was would make even bigger weddings an pickier brides happy! I would recommend LaTasha to ANYONE!!!

I cannot begin to express my gratitude for all that Latasha did to help my 19 year old great-nieces pull off a surprise "belated" wedding reception for their parents. She helped them gather and organize everything they needed, then, on party day, she made sure every detail was taken care of, included, but certainly not limited to setting up the decorations and food, as well as kept the food table filled, directed the flow of people and managed those of us who were helping out. Then, on top of that, she officiated at the re-doing of vows for my niece and her husband! I do not know what we would have done without her! She removed many the chores and stress from my nieces, which allowed them to enjoy the party, too. But I have yet to tell you the most amazing part of this... When Latasha forest heard about 2 19-year old twin sisters trying to pull of a wonderful surprise for their parents on a VERY small budget (I should say "tiny budget"), she donated her time to them! Latasha, you are one amazing woman!! Thank you so much for all you did! You helped make extremely important lasting family memories for all of us!

I found Latasha James just about two months before my wedding and I am sooooo glad I did. We were getting down to the final stretch of planning and because I am a DIY bride I had done everything myself (for the most part) and was even going to try and handle coordinating things the day of my wedding, but because of some very well received and well given advice I decided to look for someone to assist me on that day. From the moment I spoke with Latasha I knew that she was very passionate about what she was doing and that being a wedding coordinator was more than "just a job" for her. She did and absolutely AMAZING job for me on my day and the weeks leading up to my wedding day. She was very organized and on top of things and made sure that my day ran very smoothly. She even became super woman and helped to get my reception hall looking BEAUTIFUL the day of the ceremony. She is definitely well worth the money spent and provided so much more than I expected. I will recommend her for years to come for all of the fabulous work she did for me. My husband and I are very grateful that we found her and were even more grateful to have been blessed with such a sweet, kind, and hard working individual to help us make sure our day was perfect!! I got the pleasure of working with Latasha this weekend where I was a maid of honor. I will be pretty honest I have never really seen the point of having a wedding planner.. You see it on movies and I always hear how helpful they are, but I was a bridesmaid in 3 other weddings just this year and they all went smoothly too so what's the point? Right? WRONG! From the get go before the wedding night the bride kept telling me how not stressed she was because every thing was done and ready to go.. And this bride did so so so so much of her own decorating... I know that this stress free time was in part of Latasha and her communicating before hand to make sure all details were prepared.. When o got to the venue I was in shock about how prepared, on the ball, and sweet this coordinator was.. She literally had every detail prepared and if we ran into any type of little mishap she had a way to fix it.. From back up supplies for numbers missing to a back drop that didn't want to stay up, she was a saving grace.. This girl not only coordinated everything she also cares about each part of the wedding party.. Because she was making sure everything went in perfect timing I was able to enjoy myself.. She made sure I was where I needed to be but also allowed me to cost with others there was no confusion as to where something was to be or who was supposed to take what.. She knew it all!! She never rushed one part of the night and made sure that we were taken care of first!! I don't know the cost of a wedding planner but I would hands down seriously consider it... I am positive once you meet latasha you will fall in love!! This girl knows her stuff!! I wk definitely be referring for sure!! Angelica

First we have a phone interview. It is very important that we BOTH feel we are a good match. Then if we both connect well a contract will be emailed. After a returned contract and paid deposit are completed. We get to work.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Make sure the two of you get along, and click really well. They are an extension of you.
