AFTER ALL THE WORK IS SAID AND DONE, CHRISTINA MCCONNELL IS THE TYPE OF PERSON THAT YOU WANT IN YOUR LIFE. SHE LOVES WHAT SHE DOES AND IT SHOWS IN HER WORK. SHE IS PROFESSIONAL YET PERSONABLE AT THE SAME TIME. SHE IS PATIENT, FLEXIABLE AND TRULY IS SOMEONE THAT YOU CAN TRUST. SHE GOES ABOVE AND BEYOND WHAT YOU EXPECT FROM HER. MOST OF ALL SHE MAKES YOU FEEL COMFORTABLE. HER PRICES ARE MORE THAN FAIR. CHRISTINA WON'T LEAVE YOU HANGING WHEN YOU HAVE A QUESTION. SHE'LL WALK YOU THROUGH IT STEP BY STEP. WEBSITE MAKING WAS ALL NEW TERRITORY TO ME THEREFORE I WAS GOING TO START OFF WITH SOMETHING BASIC. AS I STARTED WORKING WITH CHRISTINA I FELT COMFORTABLE ENOUGH TO CHANGE EVERYTHING AROUND AND GO FOR WHAT I REALLY WANTED. WITHOUT HESITATION CHRISTINA WAS SUPPORTIVE EVEN THOUGH SHE HAD STARTED ON THE BASIC PLAN. LIKE I SAID SHE IS AMAZING AFTER WORKING WITH HER THERE IS NO OTHER. SHE IS THE BEST!Dec 26, 2014Verified

I'm sorry that you feel as though you had a bad experience. In the future when hiring a professional for social media marketing please ensure that they are given proper access to the accounts that they are monitoring on your behalf so that you are satisfied with their work, so that you are not frustrated to the point that you are leaving unfair reviews. I wish you the best of luck in the future with your book!

I was looking to do a logo for a project of mine and decided to go with this company. Communication level was great for almost two weeks, but after that things went down hill. I met up with Christina and she seemed very nice and made me feel that she could do the logo I had in mind for my project. I gave her sketches and print outs of what I was looking for. I was super confident that she was going to come back with something amazing. Unfortunately, she never came back with anything. She left with copies of my ideas and I haven't seen her since. Communication at that point was little to none. I constantly sent text messages and barely received responses. I even reduced the texts drastically to give her time to respond... Nothing. I even asked if the request was doable and she said yes, but when asked for a preview of the logo I got nothing. Eventually, after weeks of trying to get in touch with her, I requested all my print outs back so that I could take it to someone else. She told me she would send me the logo through email which I never received and she never contacted me back to return my sketches or copies. As a professional, I assumed that I would've had a better experience from the reviews I read. I ended up having to redo all my sketches and hiring someone else to do it. My experience with this company was far from a great one. I would not recommend this company to anyone.Apr 10, 2015VerifiedThe Thin Pencil's reply
Erlinda, I'm sorry that you feel as though you had a bad experience. However I would have to respectfully disagree with your account of the facts. Considering the fact that 1. No professional sketches were ever delivered(all you supplied was notes on clip art) nor was money exchanged I find it unfair for such a harsh review. I'm happy that your project was completed and you ultimately was satisfied.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?Marketing combines my two favorite passions. Creating beautiful designs that withstand the test of time and knowing why people do the things that they do. If you know why people buy then you design a website or write copy that will get them to chose your product or service.
- What types of customers have you worked with?Marketing Plans, Website Developement, Social Media Management, Logo Creation.
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?I am currently working with the National Renal Organization on their marketing plan to help them raise $5 million to build a new center to serve low income people suffering with kidney disease.
