Introduction: I am more customer friendly realizing that people who call are sometimes anxious about costs so I try to communicate very clearly what is involved in your work. I try to keep my company very lean so I don't have a lot of overhead which saves you money. I also give free estimates. I like meeting people and listening to what they are telling me about what they need done. Listening is the most important thing you can do in this line of work. People don't always know how to tell you what they want or need so you have to be able to articulate what they want and read it back to them. Then you can work on their project knowing they'll be satisfied.

Russell created for some very handsome custom book cases for my collection of golden age Sc-Fi. He made them from Alder and Oak. Very fine attention to detailing on the shelves. He took my simple drawing and produced something that I'm to show to my guest have recommended to my family and friends. Very creative, far exceeded my expectations.

I am pleased with the small knockdown/orange peel texture done on several small areas of my family room ceiling on March 1, 2014. Before Russell and Jonathan Davis, who performed the texture spraying, left my house, some of the prior texture separated from the ceiling. That was repaired immediately without question even though all of Jonathan's tools had been returned to his truck. Both men were affable and knowledgeable and we had discussions about some other items in my house needing attention. I would hire them again without question.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I belong to a woodworkers guild of people all over the world. We are a tight bunch and help each other out with advise and instruction. I have many resources.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
As a kid, my dad had a shop in the basement, so I grew up making and repairing things. From electric, to woodworking and metal working, I've done it all. So it was only logical that I should do that for a living. I really love it too. Always a new challenge.
