Had an amazing experience with Celeste as my instructor. I usually don’t like yoga or practice meditation, and she absolutely changed my perspective. She was able to access all levels of the class but still create a positive environment for stretching, balance, breathing, and a great exercise as well. She knows what she’s doing and I will definitely be coming back for another session!
Rebecca is a great yoga teacher. Demonstrates moves and explains things well. Works with client on their level and moves them forward. Great way to wind down at the end of a stressful day and recharge. I love the small class settings for lots of personal attention.
Shari choreographed our wedding dance, and was a wonderful teacher. We had a great time every lesson. It was also a welcomed break from all the stress of wedding planning. We would highly recommend her! She made two first-time dancers look and feel like pros.
When I went in for my first class, she was so descriptive on what the purpose was of what we were going to be doing that day! She has recently learned some new techniques with body movement and although more tough than the usual approach, it's much better!! She was great and would recommend to anyone wanting to give yoga a try :)

I am so glad that I stumbled upon Seeking Solace. My experience there (which has included taking every single class offered, from more than one instructor) has been instrumental in the growth of my own yoga practice. I have not only experienced a welcoming, calming, and nurturing version of each type of class taken. But I have managed to learn more in the classes taken at Seeking Solace, than I feel like I have learned in the past few years of various classes overall. Colleen (the owner) takes an active and very individual approach with each student. I feel that this carries over to each class depending on the group in attendance that day as well. I personally appreciate and thrive in an environment where the instructor is dedicated to truly providing the best possible class to each individual person there. There are a variety of classes throughout the week, as well as a Saturday class and occasional workshops & additional offerings. You can feel comfortable knowing that your teacher will explain the postures in such a way that you can modify for your own body & experience level. If you are brand new to yoga, suffering from an injury that perhaps has kept you from trying or returning to yoga, or if you are a seasoned yogi, this studio has something to offer that will deepen your practice and allow you to learn at the pace needed, with exceptional instruction from a veteran, well trained, & highly devoted instructor.
Cara is the best yoga instructor I've ever had! Her knowledge was diverse enough to work with me through prenatal, postnatal, and regular yoga, as well as train my husband who has wrist pain all in the same session. She is a very skilled and educated yogi. I highly recommend working with Cara if you can!
