I am the type of person who hasn't ever really worked out. Sure I would walk on a treadmill or get waves of energy to do something here and there. This time, I decided I would need the help of a personal trainer to keep me focused, on task, and push me when I feel like I can't go further. Josh has gone beyond my expectations. I am not going to sit here and say that it is easy. He pushes you but does it with enough ease that you are not scared to come back. Your muscles will be in shock after the non-stop cardio but in the end, your body and mind will thank you. After all, that's why you are looking for a trainer right? It's not suppose to be easy. A trainer is there to give you the results you have always wanted. Josh accomplishes that with flying colors.
Brian's knowledge of training and nutrition was beyond anything I've ever experienced from a personal trainer. His friendly personality and positive attitude helped me toward achieving my goals. Abu is dedicated to me and my goals. He is my biggest cheerleader and taskmaster. He has pushed me to do things that I never thought I could do. Through a boxing/cardio program he developed for me, I have lost almost 100 lbs. He also worked with me to create a realistic food plan. I tell everyone about Abu's dedication to his clients. I trained with Matt for about 3 years and would still be training with him had he not moved. Matt did a good job of keeping my workouts varied and challenging. When I was consistent with my weight training and cardio plus ate clean & with discipline, I was very successful with weight loss. When my diet was poor, I did not see weight loss, but was able to maintain my weight. My goals were weight loss, bone health, strength, balance and flexibility. I think the area where I made the least amount of progress was flexibility. Matt has a great sense of humor and is an all-around good guy.
Jon is a truly fantastic personal trainer. I have worked with him one on one and also in small group sessions. He listens to my goals, while also taking into account my personal preferences and limitations (lower back issues). He creates workouts that maximize my strengths, while helping diminish my weaknesses. His workouts are challenging, yet fun! I always leave my session with Jon exhausted, but always looking forward to the next time. Jon pushes you to your limit, but does it with the perfect balance of professionalism and humor. I'm looking forward to my next session!
Jill is great! She doesn't take any crap and won't give you any crap. She coaches you so you truly understand what you're doing with weight training, cardio, and food, instead of just telling you what to do and expecting you to do it. Jill will push you but she keeps your goals realistic and is never harsh or abrasive. I'm a big fan!
Working with Stephanie was one of the best experiences of my life. She agreed to help me during a weight loss challenge, the primary goal being to lose weight. However, she did not simply strive to help me shed pounds she geared her instruction and time towards helping me make a complete lifestyle change. She pushed me physically and mentally and taught me how important it is to carefully select the foods that enter your body. She made total fitness fun and something I looked forward to. I know now that it is not just about calories and cardio, she broadened my outlook and treated me as a whole personality.
