Introduction: I have been tutoring for over a decade, I have two years of experience tutoring college and high school students for a university. I am uniquely enthusiastic, patient and encouraging towards my students. I am a very passionate, reliable and driven person.
There is nothing I enjoy more than assisting others in improving the quality of their life through goal setting and academics. It brings my great joy to empower, encourage, and improve others.

Emily has been tutoring my daughter E for the last couple of months. E is a freshman, quite shy, and has been struggling a bit in her studies (mostly Algebra). We first met Emily and I found her to be very professional and yet still very friendly. She supplied me with all her background information - education, experience, references and even a background screening from the Family Care Safety Registry. Emily has helped E with organization and and with her knowledge of Algebra, she has also helped with other homework when needed. Emily pushes E to ask questions and gives her to do lists, she is very encouraging and positive. She relates very well with my daughter and I highly recommend her.

I can't imagine life without Emily to be honest. When I met Emily my nights were spent crying, bribing, begging, pleading and arguing with my daughter over homework. My daughter struggled with math and HAD a lack of confidence in herself. It's like day and night to compare where my daughter was before Emily rescued us. The pride my daughter takes in doing her work and the new found confidence she has shows in her school work and attitude about learning. I owe thanks to Emily a thousand times over for bringing peace back to my house and helping my daughter become this confident young lady. Emily not only helps my daughter with her learning but gives me tools and confidence to help my daughter better also. Emily is so easy to work with and affordable that I hope to keep her as long as possible.
