I am so glad that I stumbled upon Seeking Solace. My experience there (which has included taking every single class offered, from more than one instructor) has been instrumental in the growth of my own yoga practice.
I have not only experienced a welcoming, calming, and nurturing version of each type of class taken. But I have managed to learn more in the classes taken at Seeking Solace, than I feel like I have learned in the past few years of various classes overall.
Colleen (the owner) takes an active and very individual approach with each student. I feel that this carries over to each class depending on the group in attendance that day as well. I personally appreciate and thrive in an environment where the instructor is dedicated to truly providing the best possible class to each individual person there.
There are a variety of classes throughout the week, as well as a Saturday class and occasional workshops & additional offerings. You can feel comfortable knowing that your teacher will explain the postures in such a way that you can modify for your own body & experience level.
If you are brand new to yoga, suffering from an injury that perhaps has kept you from trying or returning to yoga, or if you are a seasoned yogi, this studio has something to offer that will deepen your practice and allow you to learn at the pace needed, with exceptional instruction from a veteran, well trained, & highly devoted instructor.
