FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
*I believe in the value of therapy and my desire is for everyone to have access to needed help so I offer some flexibility in my fees. *Most of the counseling I do is relational and most insurances don't pay for relationship counseling. As a result, I have chosen not to take the additional time and cost to bill insurances directly or complete insurance requirements to be on their provider panels. *I do work to make counseling affordable by offering a discount to those who can schedule between 8am and 4pm and I also offer additional discounts based on need. *I can provide you with a superbill and you may be able to receive some out of network reimbursements from your insurance. *I can also take any FSA or HSA funds. *I encourage you to check with your insurance on your mental health benefits so you can make an informed decision about my services. *I always encourage you to consider the value of services offered and the importance of your relationship! *Please talk to me about fees and I will work to make things affordable for you!! Daytime Sessions (8am-4pm): $85.00 Evening Sessions (5-8pm): $110.00
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to start my work with a new client by having a brief telephone consultation to discuss what they need and assure that we will be a good fit for working together. I also like the opportunity to discuss cost as I know that therapy can be expensive and I want to make sure that clients can afford the help that they need. During the telephone consultation we set a first assessment appointment to begin the therapy process.
