DNA is a pleasant setting for a group workout or a session with your professional trainer. I visited the studio on the Hill and was impressed by the comfortable atmosphere. It is a clean, well-equipped open space. The professional staff is smart and friendly. I read on their website that they all have college degrees. Missing was any feeling that this was a place to go to see or be seen. This gym is all about personal help to achieve personal health and nutrition goals. This place is about helping all of us, regardless of age or physical condition. I'm quadriplegic, having suffered a severe spinal cord injury about 40 years ago. I've used a wheelchair and converted van to get around since then. But sitting down for 40 years is not a good way to stay in shape. Recently I met with Mike, one of the owners, and Virginia, one of the personal trainers. They set me up with a routine that I've been doing every day for about a month. The results amaze me. I've made progress in my seating posture, breathing, and hand/finger dexterity. I've also improved my ability to feed myself using a fork. I've got a long way to go, but I've made a good start. They have me doing exercises in the gym and in my wheelchair at home. I'm slow and tire easily but the exercises are not too hard and don't take too long. I've stuck with them, working out every day in the morning and in the afternoon. The effect on my health and happiness is great! I feel really good.
We use Evolution Fitness LLC for our office yoga. Both instructors we have had have been great. Our employees love it and they really enjoy the instruction, ranging from beginner to intermediate.
I've been working with Brad at Stone Strength Systems for 8 months now and I am very happy with the results I am seeing. I am much leaner and much stronger than when I started, but don't let the fact that it's strength training scare you away. Brad is great about tailoring all exercises to all strength and skill levels, and the gym community is very supportive and friendly. All work outs are planned for you in advance and you can view your upcoming workout, sign in to your class and track your results on his app, it's very convenient. If you're looking to change some things up in your workout routine and work with an instructor that truly cares about your health, I'd definitely consider Brad's place.
MBC isn't just a gym, it's a family. When I found MBC I found a gym that I could finally be comfortable in. It doesn't matter your size, shape, ability or age, there is a spot for you here. For once in my life I actually look forward to going to the gym! This is a HUGE deal for me! The trainers are incredibly knowledgable and do everything in their power to help you reach your goals and motivate you. They really do go above and beyond to help everybody. Another amazing part of this gym is the fact that none of the classes are the same. Not knowing what to expect at the next class is a big motivational factor for me. It makes the classes fun and that hour is over in the blink of an eye. There are several different types of classes: Cardio Boxing, Ladies Night, FitRanx and Booty Camp. I wish I could pick a favorite, but it's pretty much impossible. I love these classes so much I try to go every single day and sometimes I even double up. This is coming from someone who hasn't been to the gym in years! I joined MBC to get active and in a few short weeks I lost over 6 inches of body fat. I can see and feel my muscles getting stronger and there is no better feeling than that. When I joined MBC I expected to lose some weight, but I didn't expect to have this much fun doing it. Joining has been one of the best decisions of my life.
My children gave me 6 weeks to help me get started on a fitness routine. I loved that each week we did something different and that I was worked hard enough to feel like it was worth it but not so hard that I couldn't move the next day. Vicki really cares about how you are doing and that you do the exercise the correct way so as not to hurt yourself.

High intensity training for real world situations. The best workout in town. They offer classes for everyone. Israeli hand to hand combat and self defense, mma, cardio workouts, strength training, yoga, Zomba, kids classes... The list goes on. If you take one class you can expect to take many more because you are sure to be hooked. Great easygoing knowledgeable instructors and staff will help you realize that you're capable of more than you ever knew. I'm very grateful for the friendships I've made going to Xkm. Xkm is family.

Very well networked with others across the US and internationally, so you can trust that you will receive the very best training for the type of world that we live in today. Unlike some I have met in the martial training industry, he neither makes you feel inferior or treats you like a child, things that I have experienced with others. Not content with what he's already learned, he's always seeking out and open to what others are teaching, adapting that to his own teaching style where compatible. His web site is chocked full of insightful knowledge and has some audio interviews from martial art masters across the spectrum of arts taught and practiced. Obviously, only you can decide how compatible you feel with any instructor, but he does his best as I have noted, to make you feel comfortable with his instructional style along with understanding your individual training needs and abilities. 1 on 1 Fitness conducted a yoga class once weekly at our facility from April to August in 2016. The class was well-received by the participants. We received many compliments on the contents of the class and the yoga instructor, Andrew Francis. He brings a lot of energy, motivation and professionalism to his fitness classes. I highly recommend him and his training for anyone who's looking for an incredible fitness expert.

I work as a chef and train in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, so any fitness advantage I can get is a positive in my world. Nate is a training partner and friend, and when I approached him to help me achieve my fitness goals, he came through with flying colors. Without getting into the details of the killer workout, Nate provided stellar insight into my personal fitness, mobility, and flexibility. The Boxing Gym is beyond excellent. I've been doing personal training with Bao for the past year. I've lost 60 lbs, but more importantly I enjoy working out more because of Bao, Jim, and how they approach what they do. Bao is able to put up with my sarcasm and (occasional...) lack of enthusiasm to get me to do things that I did not know I was capable of doing. They also offer classes and bootcamps for those who are looking for more of a group atmosphere. They have something for anyone who is considering a lifestyle change, or just wanting to get back into better shape. I highly recommend The Boxing Gym and Bao.
When I started working out with Tom, I had just quit a bootcamp where the instructor behaved more like a member of the military than a fitness coach. Tom was different, in a good way! He's funny, patient and switches up the workout enough to keep me interested. It's been over two years and I'm still sticking around!
Megan's home training sessions are fantastic! I'm finding them far more fun, and more effective, than prior personal trainers in gyms. She varies the body area of focus with each session, and succeeds in maintaining a high level of aerobic activity, broken into short 20, 30 or 40 second bursts. These short intervals of high-intensity exercise are helping me to both loose weight and improve my running stamina - with the convenience of being at my own home. Highly recommended!
