- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?For buyers, I will help you free of charge! For sellers, there is a 6-7% commission rate.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I start by having a consultation with a buyer or seller and educate them about the process of buying/selling a home. Continue reading to learn what the process is for both. If you are a seller, I will do a comparative market analysis on your house to figure out how much it is worth in the current market. We will discuss the terms of the listing contract, and then prepare your house for the market. I will give you tips on how to declutter and stage your home. Finally, we will put your house on the market, list it on over 100 websites nationwide, and sell it! If you are a buyer, I refer you to a lender to become preapproved to buy a home. After you are preapproved, I ask for your price range, the three things you cannot live without, and a few additional things that you would like but are willing to compromise on. Next, I will set you up in an automatic search on real estate software which will give you direct listings that match your search criteria. Finally, after you've chosen which houses you are interested in, I will show you any house you want to see, and help you find the one that suits you best. I can also refer you to building inspectors that will look at electrical, plumbing, potential hazards, etc. to make sure everything is working and accurately assess the cost of repairs (if necessary) so you can decide if you would like to negotiate the price with the seller accordingly.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I graduated from the Coldwell Banker Gundaker School of Real Estate in 2002 and have kept my license up to date ever since. My continuing education is ongoing. I regularly take classes to keep up with the latest market trends.
