The moving crew had to deal with non-stop rain which made things more difficult than I would have liked. There were many things Rent-A-Vet did very well: they were able to accommodate a late schedule change. They crew was friendly and professional. Junior, Jay and JT showed up 15 minutes early for the move, which I appreciated. Things that could have been improved upon. They could have brought a bigger truck. Ours was a temporary move from a 2-bedroom home to a 3-bedroom duplex while awaiting new home construction. As such, we had a pod to be filled with storage items - roughly 55% of everything we have went into the pod, which Rent-A-Vet did a superb job of packing. Not everything we had left to move into the duplex fit in the truck. This was a big frustration for me because it meant making several car trips over the next two days to get the remainder of our stuff. And the kicker is - the only appliance we moved was a small deep freeze. All other appliances, stove, fridge, washer/dryer, - stayed with the house. I was charged retail price for moving equipment - TV boxes for flat screen tv's; moving blankets; and tie-down ratchets. Kind of sucked, but okay. Finally, while I was happy with the crew and I respect how hard they worked, I wished they would have been more careful. Several nicks in the kitchen chairs; broke the hutch off my computer desk and managed to break the frame on the window to the back door of the house we vacated. Moving houses is never fun. Rent-a-Vet did a good job overall. Will probably use again moving from this duplex to our new home in three months.
Anthony was super helpful! I had asked for his help moving a recliner. He was upfront about bringing assistance, arrived early, and was very conscientious about making sure no walls or floors were damaged in transport.
It was so easy to set up a time for our move and Cartan arrived bright and early at 7am and right on time which I really appreciated so we could get a jump start on our move. Cartan and his teammate moved 3 couches, chair/ottoman, coffee table and a kitchen table. This was a short move because we were only moving down the hall, but everything was moved with care and everything was done at a great pace! I would recommend Cartan for any future moves.
There was a mix-up in terms of time and communication on both ends. They were very accommodating and offered a discount for the next time I requested service, though!
Initial contact was very quick. Questions answered promptly. On moving day, the crew texted their approximate arrival time. Very friendly and efficient. Delivery at new home was quick. They didn’t stop for lunch (I bought them freshly made donuts!). Only criticism I have is that boxes were not placed in rooms that were clearly marked on outside of boxes. This forced me to have to move all of the ones from the living room to other rooms myself. I didn’t notice this right away and have it rectified because I was distracted. My form of payment through PayPal was via my bank account not a credit card so Easy Moving would not accept it. So I had to scramble to add another form of payment to my PayPal account. After they were gone is when I noticed all the boxes left in the living room marked “bedrooms” had been left for me to move. I also gave them a nice tip before I realized how much I was left to do. Oh, well. Overall the furniture arrived in good condition. Some minor damage but nothing bad enough to call and complain about. Would use them again but would definitely pay more attention next time. I was by myself so it was a long, arduous day keeping track of everything.
I needed help hauling large, heavy items (upright freezer, projection TV) up from the basement and hauling them off. Andre and Grant were on time and called before arriving. Andre has a moving van and is able to actually move furniture if you are wanting to move. I thought the price was fair. I had additional items to haul and he was able to accommodate me with his large moving van. Don't hesitate to call Andre!
I had a large load to move apparently. I listed off my house size, distance to the new address, and amount I'm estimating I wanted to bring. I wish I remembered the sales rep's name so I could give him some credit. He totally hooked it up. He gave me a 20 cents discount on my price per c.f. because I was bringing so much stuff, apparently I had an over-sized crate too so that added to it more. I never knew I could save money by bringing more! But anyways he told me the movers would have a large team of about 5 so they wouldn't sacrifice time. It was a little extra but I would rather pay a bit more to not sleep on the floor waiting for my things for longer. The guys came on the first day of my 2 day pickup window. All in matching shirts and those waistbands things they wear to not throw out their backs lifting. My appliances were already unhooked, fridge empty and defrosted thanks to the salesman's instructions. I planned to stay in the house I was leaving until about a day before the truck was scheduled to arrive. I flew out and they came the same day. No extra wait. Totally worth the price.
Very great experience thanks to their team and they also have great prices. They were very prompt when responding bad very respectful when speaking. My wife and I are glad we chose THE WAY 2 MOVE . Quality 1 Movers and their staff are truly exceptional. From the time I ordered their moving services to the moment Tony and Roman left my new home, I felt I was working with people that cared about me and meeting my expectations. I spoke many times with Nika in the office and every time she made me feel confident that I would be well taken care of. Also, the move of my piano was awesome to watch. By the time my entire move was over, I felt like I had been dealing with family instead of a moving company. I know they also offer services other than moving and if I had a need for something else this would be the company I would call. Our movers were GREAT! The staff did a great job of keeping in touch with us throughout the process. The BEST part, our things arrived only one day after moving into our new apartment in another state! Very happy with our choice and this company!
Very Professional, Very Polite, They were actually early which I like that. The Cost was very affordable. I called other places. He beat their price. They treated my items as if they were theirs. No drops, No markings, etc. I would defiantly use Rathbone Movers again. I will be letting my friends know about this company. It's not to often when you can find good help. What a great experience today with aldi & his team. This was initially a small move, and of course it turned out to be a bit more than planned. Aldi was positive, careful, and so helpful. They took very good care of my furniture & we’re so professional every step of the way. I would highly recommend for any job!

I loved working with their team of movers. They are extremely knowledgeable and professional. I couldn’t believe how quickly everything was moved out of my house. This was the only company that gave me the option to charge me per hour or give me a fixed price for the move.
We have moved several times and a few times across country. Our experience with Great Nation Moving was by far the easiest and hassle free experience that we have had with moving. They sent over an appraiser who was able to give us a quote after walking through our house and seeing what we owned and were moving. He was within $50 of our ending price, so it extremely accurate. The pricing was in-line with several other companies that we had quote out the job. Rose, their sales/account manager, was great. We explained that we needed to move from within a specific time frame, and they were able to accommodate to our schedule. We were driving to our new home as soon as the movers were done packing everything up, and they even accommodated a faster pack up by adding an additional member to the crew packing up our belongings. They delivered our items in less than a week, which was much faster than our past experiences. Rose kept me posted on the progress of everything throughout the process and seemed to be working 24 hrs a day to make sure we were comfortable and in the know of what was going on. She even called within 30 minutes of the delivery of our items to see how everything went. We did have some slight damage on one item, which we were not bothered with as the item was beat up from a previous move. Without us filing a complaint, Rose was able to get us a check to cover the damages. Overall it was some of the best customer service I have experienced. Its always a headache and there is always the hidden issues that pop up along the way, however, I felt Rose kept us in the know and ahead of the curve with the move. That goes a long way when you have literally everything you own in their hands.
I had StL Junk Removal clean out my house after the flood a few weeks ago. WOW they did an awesome job. I never realized how hard of work junk removal is, but sure enough they left my house free of all the junk, just as I had hoped. They were all very nice, clean cut and professional, and I was thrilled with their positive attitudes. Even though my stuff at that point was just JUNK- they still took great care during the removal process. I will definitely be using them to clean out my offices when the time comes. I highly recommend StL Junk Removal.
