- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
For one-time projects I generally use a rate. If the work is ongoing I consider the volume and scale down. Always happy to discuss the specifics with any potential client upfront and well before any agreement of work is discussed.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Each client is interviewed at least once. When we have engaged in normal conversational style, I pull apart every piece of the conversation and assign it to its proper category. From there I become creative and deliver first drafts with the expectation of several rounds of editing. It enables both parties to be involved and aware of actual expectations, deadlines and responsibilities.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have an English writing degree and 20 years of experience writing for clients.
