Nan was great at working with our schedule and helped pick out the perfect fabric to recover our chairs. We drove from Kansas City to meet Nan, pick out a fabric and drop off the chairs for her to have her excellent source for reupholstering, Ed, who did a wonderful job. I’d highly recommend using this service for great quality and good communication.

Our family was not sure if this chair was salvageable because of its condition however were determined to find a place to re-upholster it since it belonged to my husband’s late grandmother. We are glad we found Vision Interiors who provided us confidence that they could save the chair and make it look like new! We could not be more satisfied with the outcome and look forward to keeping the chair in the family for decades to come!! Nan worked as an interior design consultant when we decided to upgrade our home. I worked with Nan over a period of six months. Nan from Visions Interiors is helping us choose many things for the new house we are building. We live some distance away and Nan has been so helpful in helping us to decide. She has saved us more time than we have paid her. She always answers emails within a day as well as calls and texts. We are not finished yet and we highly recommend Nan.

FAQs

• What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

  $70/hr. is merely an estimate for smaller projects. I prefer to work on a retainer basis whereby the client and I estimate the length of time we will need to complete their project, and then go on a flat fee based on that time period. It averages out to considerably less per hour.

• What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

  I like to have a telephone conversation first to find out more about the client's ideas and needs. Then I like to schedule a mutually convenient time to meet at the site and get into more depth on the project plans. Hopefully at that time, we can both decide whether we want to proceed with working together.

• What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

  I was mentored for 12 years by a woman who had many years in the business, had taught classes, and wanted to see me succeed.
