I can not say enough positive about not only the quality of my deck project but the pleasure it was to do business with Dave and his father.
My project was made complicated by the difficult schedule I keep... Dave worked me and adjust the start date multiple times after a long delay induced by international travel this summer.
Once the project started Dave and his small crew worked dilligently to get the project finished. They offered me excellent recommendations on stain & other accessories as well as ideas on how to tackle a tricky situation that required creativity in installing a few of my balusters.
The final product is amazing, the workmanship excellent and the value for money as competitive as you’d be likely to find with any larger commercial outfit.
I like the fact that Manning Yard & Deck are a family run and family oriented local business. With word-of-mouth be in the best advertiser I would highly recommend Dave and his business to any of you out there who would like a quality job done on their home!

Manning Yard and Deck did a great job restoring my 12 year old deck. They replaced rotted wood and made it as safe and sturdy as when it was brand new. It looks great! Dave Manning and his team are professional and give you a true assessment of what is needed. The cost was very reasonable and competitive. I will definitely use them again.

I had a project that had to be done in 5 days due to the closing of my house. After our initial call, Dave ended up calling me back to arrange a meeting sooner than previously agreed upon, in fact, we met within 24 hours of his response to my post. Not only is the craftsmanship exceptional, Dave is a human being who took time to understand my situation, come up with a feasible and affordable game plan, and executed the repairs I needed a couple days BEFORE my deadline. And he ended up doing more repairs than what I initially called him out to complete. I would recommend Manning Yard & Deck 100 times over to everyone in the KC area and I will definitely be keeping his info should I need to hire him again.

Mr. Manning did an excellent job on my mother-in-law's front deck. They were quick with a bid response and started the job on-time. They went over and beyond to ensure that the 90 year old widow was safe during construction and kept me aware remotely of their progress. Great finished product!
