FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Initially, we have a phone consultation to outline our customers’s goals. Since every family and dog is unique, we make sure to obtain priorities and clarify expectations. Through this discussion, we can make sure that your dog and family will achieve the most successful results.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Masters degree in Counseling. I completed my education to become a certified Canine Behavioral Counselor through the Association of Companion Animal Behavior Counselors. As well, I am a Certified Professional Dog Trainer through the Certification Council of Professional Dog Trainers. I am a member of the Association of Professional Dog Trainers, Association of Companion Animal Behavior Counselors and Canine Good Citizen evaluator.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
While I was in the counseling field assisting individuals, I began volunteering and participating with different organizations to help dogs in need. After watching dog’s behavior improve through training and behavioral modification, I knew that I could make a difference to help these dogs. I made a commitment to be an integral part of saving dogs’ lives.
