Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: It's very rare to find musicians with the credentials that I have who are still willing to work in "local" settings. Having toured and/or recorded with numerous marquee artists in the music business, I bring substance and credibility to any musical situation. I'm also very interested in playing and composing original music, as opposed to playing the "standard fare" repertoire that so many seem to get "stuck" on. Don't get me wrong, I'm able to provide that if that's what the job entails, but I'd rather offer something that's unique and special with a few favorites sprinkled in for good measure. The idea that any time one sits a the instrument to perform [and especially with other musicians] there's always the potential for unforgettable chemistry and truly rewarding musical communication is something that keeps me going and ensures the act of playing music always stays fresh and exciting.

FAQs

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

I would want my potential customers to know that I'm going to try my best to suit their needs and will always be open to hear their concerns. I would want them to be confident about voicing their doubts or to be comfortable saying "I don't know" about something; I always say "With a little common sense and good will, almost anything can be worked out."

  • What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

I would want customers to understand that it takes courage and commitment to play music. It is not an easy thing. The trajectory of mos of our careers is "up and down" by nature, and that's one of the main challenges about this profession. This is why I'm here frankly. I've had a fruitful time in Wash. DC (including the "ups and downs" ;-) and now, due to my wife's job, I find myself in a new place eager to work more.
