Lily Pad catered by parents' 70th Wedding Anniversary party which had 40 guests. The food was excellent, everything from the appetizers to the main course. Many people asked me who the caterer was. There was plenty of food (which I always worry about), even a few leftovers which we enjoyed the next day. The event was held at a log cabin, and Dana worked well even in the cramped kitchen. During the process he was always prompt & helpful when answering my calls. I would surely recommend Dana to cater your event. Thanks Dana, for making my parents' party something special.

This was my first experience hiring a caterer for any event aside from my wedding and I really had no idea what I was doing. Thankfully Dana had a PROCESS and quickly got up to speed on my vision for an informal / casual event that was just "fun". He helped me with the details like compiling a largely gluten free menu, supplying serving ware, coordinating for a bartender and he even made recommendations for things I could buy myself to cut costs. The best part of working with Dana is that he is GREAT at what he does. The food was outstanding and I didn't have to lift a finger. He reached out several times prior to the event to make sure my needs were being met. And he stayed an extra hour with minimal notice. Overall, just A+ service. There are some vendors that you enjoy working with and then there are vendors that make you want to throw parties just for the heck of it so you can use them again. Dana is the latter. THANKS FOR MAKING OUR PARTY AWESOME!

Dana was phenomenal to work with, from the planning phase to the execution of the event. He was creative and flexible with the menu and made sure we got exactly what we were looking for. He was especially great on-site the night of our event and everyone really enjoyed getting to meet the chef! Everyone is still raving about the food, and we will definitely be welcoming Lily Pad back for future catering opportunities. Highly recommend.

Working with Chef Dana was an incredible experience! He listened to exactly what I was wanting and offered suggestions to accommodate my needs/wants. From the initial menu planning to the night of the event, the communication was open, and he answered any and all my questions quickly. The night of our event, he arrived early to the home and had an array of appetizers readily available as my guests arrived. The dinner presentation was top notch and the food was prepared to each guest liking. Dana and his team handled not only the food prep and cooking, but the cleaning up afterwards. This truly was a hands-off experience for me, and I was able to enjoy the dinner party as a "guest" myself. I wanted an item that was not listed on the menu as an option. He not only obliged to my request, he went a step above and beyond and created a recipe from scratch to accommodate! The entire menu from the appetizers to the bite sized desserts were a hit among all my guests. I highly recommend Chef Dana and Lily Pad Catering to anyone and everyone wanting a highly personable experience with fantastic food to suit everyone's palette. I will be using his services in the future when the need arises.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
The pricing is determined on what the customer chooses for their menu, that is why I need more information before giving a solid quote. All my menus are custom to the client's wants and needs. Including disposables and/or rentals and any other extras.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The 1st step is generally a quick phone call to get more detail and then I will send menu options with pricing per person. From there we will go back-and-forth revising the menu until it's exactly where they wanted him within their budget.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Keeping up with trends in and varieties of cooking via various media is a great way to continue educating myself. I also enjoy networking with other chefs, which helps one stay current with trends. And last, but not least, experimental cooking at home with my wife has sparked many great dish ideas!
