- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Chef Mike went to L'Ecole Culinaire and received his associated degree in the culinary arts. He then went on to teach cooking classes and demo's for Schnucks Markets for 6 years. Then in 2015 he became part owner of Mateker's Meat & Catering and revamped the catering side of the business. Chef Mike has a passion for food and his team is a profession group hand picked by Chef Mike.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
We Cater any size event from our big corporate event like Barnes Hospital, Edward Jones, Paraquad and Floor Layers Union to name a few to the backyard BBQ or Pig Roast. There is no event to large or too small.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Price is not always the best way to determine a caterer. I believe you pay for what you get. Here at Mateker's we will wow you with our friendly, professional staff and go way beyond to make sure your event is one to remember.
