- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Attorneys have to attend Continuing Legal Education (CLE) hours every year. Mr. Korner has been asked to speak at multiple CLE's on the topic of DWI defense.
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
I recently represented a client charged with both his seventh and eighth DWI offenses. The client was facing two years of mandatory prison time without parole, and most likely an actual sentence even longer. Another attorney had the case for over a year before my office was brought in to take over the representation. Through a full investigation, as well as motion hearings, the prosecutor amended both DWI's to lesser DWI offenses and the client will be placed into a treatment program followed by probation.
