- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing varies from project to project. I have discounted rates for multiple visits and I give a discount to recurring clients. My standard price for cat sitting is $15.00 per visit. For 5 or more days the rate reduces to $12.50/day. My pricing is negotiable depending up the situation.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I typically meet with the owner and the furkid(s) for an initial screening. I want to make certain the fit is right for both the pet parent, the pet and myself. I will then talk with the pet parent about specific details and expectations. If it's a match, we will talk the business end of it and set up a schedule beneficial to all involved.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a certified dog trainer and have 9 years of experience in the training field. I have several friends whose dogs I have walked over the years. The dogs range anywhere from Yorkshire Terriers to Pit Bull Terriers and American Bull Dogs. I have also worked for 10 years as a Pet Nutrition Specialist for the Nutro Company and for Purina Pro Plan. Pets are always first and I will treat your pet as I treat my own.
