Daniel, Thank you for your very kind review. Dave
I had a very tight timeline and needed to turn around product photos in one day. Dave was incredibly accommodating and turned around this project in just a matter of hours. I highly recommend working with him.May 19, 2016Verified

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?Yes. For photographic services I charge $100/hour, which includes time spent in post processing & delivery. That ranges from 1-4 times the shooting time depending on the type of work. Interiors & magazine quality photos generally require the most post processing for quality results. For my fine art work I have standard pricing that depends on the size & materials used, so I can likely meet any budget.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I first listen to their needs & budget, then provide them suggestions how we can meet those needs. Sometimes clients need some education on the types of photography that will best meet their needs, so there is an exchange of ideas. This leads to a plan with a budget which we then execute.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?My Masters Degree in Optical Engineering helps. Also, I network with other photographers (I am past Vice President of the St. Louis Artists' Guild & Chairman of the Photography Section). Also I subscribe to a series of videos on how nationally known photographers do their work. I read a lot about it, and of course practice, practice, practice.
