FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Schultz & Myers, like most personal injury law firms, works on a contingency fee basis. That means you don't pay any fees upfront, and our pay is a percentage of your settlement. This number varies based on the type of case you have or if your case goes to trial. Your best bet is to give us a call to talk specifics. It's completely free to talk to a lawyer, so there's no risk in doing so.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Founding partner, Stephen Schultz was injured in a severe car accident in his early twenties. He had to re-learn how to walk. To make matters worse, the insurance company was making it difficult for him to be compensated for his astronomical medical bills. He knew he wanted to help victims of injury because he had been in their shoes. He can empathize in a way other injury lawyers simply don't understand.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
We work with victims of accidents and the families of those who were fatally injured. Accident types we typically deal with are bus accidents, semi-truck accidents, workers compensation, medical malpractice, and defective drugs.
