Ted and his wife were a huge blessing to my husband and I! They met with us before the wedding and provided premarital counseling that truly helped strengthen our relationship prior to marriage. They ensured that everything was perfect for our ceremony. They were flexible with meeting times and easy to reach to speak about anything. We will continue to use them as support throughout our marriage.
In our premarital counseling kerry helped guide my wife and I towards a marriage with God at the center when things would get tough. During this process he help us understood the trails of marriage as well as the hope God had for a strong marriage. For both of us this was very important. We came from divorced families. Coming from a inconsistent upbringing the foundations of a lasting marriage was foreign to us. Even though we felt like everyone else, imagining a fairytale marriage that would last forever because we were so in love. I'm very greatful we had the chance to work with Kerry. As the marriage progressed, we faced hard times. We had to fight to grow into eachother, becoming one unit. Coming from divorce we learned to be independent and self sufficient. As we grew together we faced the trail of a miscarriage. This experience can tend to cause division and self destructive behaviors. We faced the temptations of these actions. We even fell and took part in them, for a time. As we remembered Kerry's council it push led us towards God and the way eachother should be to one another. Bringing us far away from those behaviors. Now we are 3 yrs strong, with an amazing baby boy, and a long journey still to face. We have ideas of what's to come, steps to stake to over come them, and a foundation in God that will handle whatever we are unable to. If tou want a strong lasting marriage use Kerry as your councilor, follow what he teaches, and stay true to the path he sets you on.
She is a very competent therapist. She was able to help me and be open when I needed support. As a therapist myself it was a hard for me to open up and be on the other end of things. She really help me with family issues and put healthy barriers up with them. Jean
We had a small outdoor wedding with about 50 guests. Pastor Robin gave a beautiful speech about us and all about marriage. The vows we wrote for each other blended perfect with her ceremony. She was very kind and the wedding went smooth. Our guests commented on how wonderful the ceremony was and how it fit the two of us perfectly. We will recommend her to anyone needing a very kind and qualified wedding officiant. One who goes beyond what is required to make the wedding ceremony a beautiful, memorable experience.
For eight years I avoided going to counseling because of really bad experiences. However, with the encouragement of my friends to give it another shot I scheduled an appointment with Don Weir. As soon as I began my first session I felt safe and like I had someone who actually understood me. I was so excited about my counseling session with Don that I actually called up a few people in my family to tell them that I think I have found the right counselor for me. I've been going to Don for three years consistently and it has been the most life changing experience ever. I've had many highs and many lows, but through my sessions with him I truly feel like I have been able to understand myself a bit better which in turn has resulted in more positive interactions with my relationships, home life, marriage, and work.
Kingston did our marriage counseling for about 6 months. His wife sat in on most of the sessions which was nice to have both a man and woman's point of view and how they handled difftent things. Kingston is very knowledgeable on many things. My husband and I loved out session with him and his wife. He also preformed out wedding services and did an awesome job!! It was exactly how we wanted it to turn out!

Do you need to talk? I'm here to listen. Do you ever wish you had a place where you could be you? I mean, really you? Do you wish you could say whatever is on your mind without being judged? The odds are high that you already have enough people in your life who are trying to tell you what you should do. But do you have someone who truly listens? Sometimes, we just need someone who will listen, someone who will understand our situation and help us figure it all out. That's what I do. I'm a PLPC who is serving the St. Louis, Missouri area. And I'm here to listen to you and what you need. I know the benefits of counseling from firsthand experience; I'm a big believer in promoting a cause that I would be willing to undertake myself. My own therapy has given me a strong foundation on which to help others. That's why I'm here: I'm here to help you. When we meet, our time is all about you. I meet you on your level and listen to what you need and what is on your mind. My role doesn't mean that I already have answers to your personal questions or the issues you might be wrestling with. That is why we talk together to help you figure out the answers to your questions. We'll take it at your pace, too: my mission is to create a safe environment for you where you feel that you can express yourself without being judged. You are the one in control at all times. Author Henry David Thoreau said that, "Happiness is like a butterfly: the more you chase it, the more it will elude you, but if you turn your attention to other things, it will come and sit softly on your shoulder." That's what our time is about: turning our attention to other things. And throughout it all, you'll find butterflies start to sit softly on your shoulder, and you'll be happier for it.
I am a licensed massage therapist in a chiropractic office. I provide therapeutic massage, which can include Swedish, deep tissue, stretching and pregnancy massage. I am also a CRT (cranial release technique) practitioner.
I encourage my clients to discuss their feelings and concerns and to identify their hopes for change during therapy. Therapy is viewed as a partnership where goals for therapy will be discussed together. The process of therapy is paced according to the client's comfort. In other words, I will not be forcing you to discuss an issue or make a change until you're ready! I am happy to work with families, couples and individuals.
I fuse my formal educational training received from Webster University-BA in Psychology and St. Louis University-Master of Social Work (MSW) with ongoing education, experience as a psychotherapist along with personal background. I have a great deal of experience and tools to utilize for my client's benefit.
