Gregory Cross (Gregory J Photography) sent me a quote on Nov. 20, 2017 which I accepted. He and I had a verbal agreement, and exchanged emails concerning a videography job at the church where I am employed.
Gregory and another party attended the subject event on Wed. evening Nov. 22 and ostensibly videotaped the proceedings. I followed up with an email on Nov. 29 wherein I notified him that I had sent a marked-up script to assist him with editing.
I made good-faith payment of the entire fee. He processed both checks on Dec. 4, 2017.
At no time after Nov. 29, did Gregory attempt to contact me.
With Christmas at church (December was a very busy month), I did not contact Gregory again until right before Christmas December, 2017 to inquire as to the status of the videotape.
12/28/17 to me
I sent out a DVD, the holiday season may have affected its arrival. If you still do not have it, let me know and I'll send out another copy!"
In late January, I notified Gregory via email that I had not received a DVD or tape. He has not bothered to respond to that request for a status update.
In essence, Gregory Cross deceived and cheated my CHURCH and me by agreeing to a job, accepting money for it, and then failing to provide any tangible service or product. Further, he embezzled the agreed-upon $1,000.00 fee from me.
The experience with Gregory J Photography is more than terrible. It was crooked and fraudulent.
