Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: My images capture raw emotions and pure moments that you just can't fake. I am also professionally trained in shooting to get the correct lighting, white balance, and sharpness right in my camera to reduce the time needed doing post-production work in Photoshop and Lightroom. This means I get the photos completed and the finished product delivered quicker! I love being able to capture a single moment and print it so it can be kept forever.

Melanie is great! She photographed my baby for her 1 month and 2 month. Both months she came to my house, with all of her equipment, at a time that was convienent for me. She was very patient with my daughter and took some beautiful pictures! I was hesitant to take my newborn to a mall studio so knowing that she would come to my house made everything so much easier!

Melanie did a beautiful job for my daughters graduation photos. We did the photo shoot at Forest Park and Melanie knew all the perfect places with the best scenery. Her pricing was very reasonable too. I highly recommend Melanie for your photo needs.

FAQs

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

I put hours and hours of thought into every single price I give. My packages are designed to give the most bang for your buck so I do try to push them rather than just buying an hour of my time and buying all the prints individually. I am more than happy to swap out one size print for a different size - as long as they are equal. (I will always swap an 8x10 for 2 4x6's or 8 wallets. I will never swap a 5x7 for an 11x17. That's just silly!)

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

You get what you pay for. Sure, I may be a little more expensive than another student, but I have 3 years of professional experience and my images speak for themselves.

  • What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

Photography is not just about clicking a button. I am in school full time studying my trade, taking business and technical classes so I can be well-versed in all aspects. I also do all my own editing and website hosting to cut down on cost, but in turn that makes my job a little more difficult. I am more than happy to go over our allotted time by a few minutes so I can get just the right shot. It makes me happy to have happy (and repeat) customers!
