FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My fees for tutoring are based on my education level. I have a B. A. Degree in Foreign Languages. My fluency is in Spanish and French. I lack 3 credits toward my Masters Degree. I have a Lifetime Teaching Certificate which allows me to teach in the State of Mo for life. I started Spanish in the 6 th grade and my many trips for advanced Spanish enable me to speak fluently like a Native Spanish speaking person. My fees have been reduced from $50. Per hour to $35-$40 depending on distance I have to travel. Thank you
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Talking to a new client is very important. It puts both parties at ease. I can answer any questions they may have and it allows me to explain my teaching plan. We develop a rapport and a sense of familiarity. I listen to their goals and develop their individual study guides. On the phone they can tell me when they want to begin and what days they prefer to be tutored. I am always flexible to their needs.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I received a scholarship to the University of Missouri to further my study of Foreign Languages . I chose Spanish and French, the 2 Romance languages. I also was awarded a scholarship to study at El Instituto De Estudios Superiores de Monterrey, México. I lived in a dorm and became everyone's translator as I spoke Spanish more fluently than the others. I received 6 advanced credit hours.
