Introduction: I'm an RN who works in CVOR (Cardio Vascular Operating Room). I would love to keep clients from coming into CVOR. One of the best ways to do that, outside of good diet, is by exercise and stress reduction. I have three ISSA national personal training certifications which are the following: 1. Certified Fitness Trainer 2. Specialist Exercise Therapy and 3. Youth Fitness Trainer Personally, I have practiced yoga for 14 years. I began to study yoga through Desert Southwest, and have taken classes that include the following: yoga for personal trainers, Pilates, power yoga, vinyasa yoga, senior yoga, office yoga, yoga for pregnancy and faith-based yoga. I don't believe that yoga can be taught in a classroom setting. There are several contraindications to yoga which can be missed in a group setting. As an RN, I understand your health needs. I understand what you can or can't do and the importance of following your physician's orders. I only do privates that include one or two clients so I can instruct and guide you through the proper yoga experience and give you an individualized care. One of my favorite quotes is "When asked what surprised him most about humanity, the Dalai Lama, answered "Man... Because he sacrifices his health in order to make money. Then he sacrifices money to recuperate his health. And then he is so anxious about the future that he does not enjoy the present; the result being that he does not live in the present or the future; he lives as if he is never going to die, and then dies having never really lived." ~ Dalai Lama I want to see each of my clients enjoy life to the fullest by good diet, exercise, and stress reduction.
