Browse these metal stairs and railings installers with great ratings from Thumbtack customers in Saint Peters.
We needed our large wrap-around front porch and concrete steps painted. A1 Maintenance got back to me quickly on Thumbtack and I was impressed with the great reviews. Jeff came out the next day and gave us a very good price, which included painting and power washing the front of the house. We agreed to the price and a few days later Jeff started work - he arrived on time, worked efficiently and was always pleasant. Best of all, he did a great job with the painting and power washing. The painting was involved and included much detail work, including railings and slats, and also the concrete front steps and tops of the brick columns. It looks fantastic. We would definitely hire Jeff and A1 Maintenance again. Highly recommend!
From the other reviews that I read, I hoped that Mike would be a good fit for our projects it turns out that good fit is an understatement. We had a variety of projects, from minor plumbing repair to laying floor tile to installing doors and casing, and Mike was able to do all of it, and he did everything very well. His promptness and affordability were a bonus. Were already planning to have him do more work for us.
Christian is a truly talented and all around nice guy. He repaired Iron Railings that had rusted out of the concrete and fallen down on our large porch. Since they had been repaired before, Christian selected solid iron instead tubular, for the material. They look great and should now last a lifetime. Thank you Christian!
John installed a new stair railing system. The job was challenging with a tight time frame and John worked hard to give me the staircase I was dreaming of. I am very pleased. The new railing system gives my entry and family room a WOW! factor. I would highly recommend John.
Thom and his crew came out and installed laminate floors and carpeted our stairs. You can buy quality flooring but if you divvy have a good installer they will not look right nor Iast. They all took pride in their work and have a passion for their craft. That makes a huge difference. We are very pleased with the quality of work put into our floors and they were completed on a timely manner. We will use this company again.
Shannon has actually done two projects for us so far. He framed and dry walled a new 5x7 bathroom in our basement. He also installed the trim for the bathroom. The estimate provided was spot on and the work was timely and thorough. Shannon did a great job. We engaged Shannon again to remodel our basement with the old paneling and drop ceiling to be more contemporary. The basement was 32 X31, a large room. He drywalled the room, built an under the stair closet, installed trim, installed 5 doors and installed the recessed lighting throughout the room. Shannon's estimate was again fair and accurate and the work was completed in about three weeks. The delays were mine, not his. Shannon returned to adjust door heights after we installed carpet and padding. Shannon also added additional electrical outlets in the basement and installed one exterior outlet for me. On several occasions, Shannon has provided me with his opinion on projects I was working on but he was not hired to assist or to do. Clearly, above and beyond the work he was hired to do. Shannon was always on time, communicated with us through e-mail, text and phone to provide us timely updates and work with us on scheduling. I would hire Shannon again, readily and without reservation.
It was a pleasure working with Robert. He was friendly and very professional. He went above and beyond when I asked if he could take a looked at my chimney hood while he was on my roof to see if it could be fixed. To my surprise, he repaired it at know extra cost. I'm so pleased with Robert's work that I have set up another job for next week.
I was on the look out for a good handy man and I found randy through his wife who cleans my apartment. His job is very neat. He installed light fixtures, mounted tv on the wall and installed curtains.. He can do pretty much anything.. And he charges quite reasonably too. My husband and I are very impressed with his work.
The job that Luke at MorganCo did for me was a fairly simple job. I had one section of vinyl fence knocked down and needed just a few replacement parts. He found the parts for me to order and gave me the information, in other words, he received absolutely no pay for this and did outstanding customer service. I will be contacting him in the future for some other work which needs to be done.
Tom gave me an affordable quote to fix a difficult patio that was in desperate need of repair. Tom used his creative engineering and carpentry skills to build two decks and a new set of stairs that give my patio a beautiful look and functional flow. Now my patio is ready for great out door entertaining. I highly recommend Tom Daily Contracting!!
I had Shane re-grout a bathroom in my house and put up some stringer stairs for my deck. He was good with communication about when he would do the work and how long it would take. The price was reasonable and the finished result was very good. I would definitely hire him again for future projects.
Mike and his crew have done many jobs at our home. Most recent was the updating of our Great room, foyer, wet bar, 1/2 bath, Laundry room and install Iron on front stairs. We could not be happier, everything looks great. He was a big help in keeping us on track picking out colors, floors, granite, and plumbing. Very easy to work with and the men who work for/with him are wonderful. We will be using him again very soon to continue updating our home. Prior to that he has painted the exterior of our home and painted our entire lower level. Both great! He is very talented and we are so glad found someone we can trust and feel confident the work is done right and at a fair cost.
I would hire these guys again and again. They did a phenomenal job on our investment project, were straightforward, honest, hardworking and have extreme attention to detail.
Scott is great to work with. He installed an outdoor railing, and explained his process so I could make any changes or questions. He also indicated how I could save some money on the job. It was obvious that he cared about the quality of his work. and his customers. I plan to call him again for any job that comes up.
We used Scott for our Lake Sherwood Lake House for several projects. Painting all exterior doors, interior stairs, ceiling repair, etc. Plus he installed all new baseboards on the entire main level. The finished work was excellent and his pricing competitive. The baseboards looked exceptional and he handled everything from getting the wood, installation, painting & caulking. He went to the house several times to check his measurements and the majority of his prep cutting was done off site making the actual installation go quicker. On the painting it was good but we did have to request that he follow up on some missed spots and apply another coat of paint. Ceiling repair & painting was very good as you can not even see the repair. Communication... His communication style is gruff, when he firsts meets people he is not very friendly and is quick to bad mouth things. He made negative comments to others working at our house, spoke poorly of other vendors and was quick to offer his opinions that we purchased crappy paint, did not like our wood floor choice, etc. (Behr Marquee paint at $48 per gal is hardly crappy paint and received the highest ratings from consumer reports) After my first meeting with him I was not going to hire him because of his initial approach. But then reading his reviews and checking his ratings with the BBB decided to use his services. We share this because after you get past this he is friendlier and his work is very good. He ended up actually paying compliments about the work of our flooring installer and did apologize on a few mix ups. Scott was very responsive via text and was prompt to follow up with us. He worked quickly and completed everything right on schedule. In fact, ahead of schedule! Overall we were pleased with the work he did for us but just know it might be a little bumpy process.
William replaced siding on my house that another company said they could cosmetically repair. After William walked me through the process, I realized his service was MUCH better than the other company. He did an incredible job replacing my siding and matched the paint perfectly. His team was incredibly professional and they were able to meet a very tight timeline to get the job finished. I am incredibly impressed with the quality of work and would recommend him to anyone. I'm very pleased with the work and will absolutely hire him again for future projects. OUTSTANDING!
He just finished some laundry room work for us and we couldn't be happier. We've always done all of our own work before because we were seldom happy with the quality of "professionals" work, but crawling around isn't as easy as it used to be before two titanium knees. He took up old floor, laid cement board and porcelain tiles; moved plumbing fixtures; repaired and painted walls and ceiling; and hung a new door. Hard worker, very knowledgeable, and very competent and precise. Clean up was exceptional. Would use him again for any project.
Hourglass remodeled my kitchen and the workmanship is beautiful! It was a complete gut job and involved moving a wall and removing soffits - it looks fabulous. Guy does excellent work - a bit slowly - but the end results are wonderful. We enjoy the kitchen every day and the improvement is hard to believe!
We asked Keith to demolish our art installation in a park. Although it took a little longer than we thought it would, he was very pleasant and professional. He thought through what the job would require (like dirt and grass seed to restore the park) and completed the job before our deadline.
McElrea arrived on schedule to repair, grind, and resurface two flights, a landing, and a porch on property entrance. Price was very competitive, craftsmanship well done, professional interactions on all occasions including bid estimate and on the job. I am very pleased with the finished product. The aesthetics to the property are improved significantly.
We have used Reeder Construction for several projects and have always been very pleased. Bob is a great guy. Finished our basement Built a beautiful wood bar in our basement Installed crown molding Rebuilt our deck, stairs and railing Installed new ceiling fans and lights
Tim Warren is a conscientious, skilled craftsman who with one other man, rebuild my basement family room and large bathroom. He can do everything: electrical, plumbing, installations, paint, and most of all, carpentry work. He also has great ideas and is willing to share them. He is totally honest, polite and respectful. The quality of his work is first-class. I have called him a number of times since he completed that 4-month rehab job, and he has responded willingly and promptly to my requests for some odd-jobs. I would hire Tim again in a heart-beat to complete any job at my house -- whether it be a new build or a rehab. I have recommended him to two friends who also had big jobs and both were extremely pleased with the results of his work.
We needed railings on the stairs leading outside. Nick really listened to what I said and the completed work was just what I wanted. It was like he was in my head! Both Nick and Branden are very nice young men. The best part was when the job was completed they cleaned up all the debris. The only way you could tell they had been there was the new railings. They also painted my cyclone fencing (after clearing away overgrown trees) and installed my Sun Setter awning over the patio. Now I am trying to see what else I can come up with to keep them busy. Way to go Nick and Brandon.
