FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We do many cases on a flat fee, such as traffic tickets, wills, trusts, powers of attorney, setting up an LLC, uncontested divorces, bankruptcy, etc. Other cases, such as contested divorce, probate, or other types of litigation, we may charge by the hour. We would be happy to discuss this with you anytime.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We typically talk to them over the phone, and first make sure that we are an appropriate fit, and that we handle the legal matter which they need assistance with. We then typically set an initial consultation to get to know each other, and see what we can do for them. Once we know we can help, we typically will describe what we think needs to be done, and what it will cost, before we are hired.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
My background and college degree is in Psychology. I worked in the field for a couple of years, both at the Burrell Center with Seniors, and Lakeland Regional Hospital with children. I thought I wanted to be a psychologist. I decided to go to law school instead, and the rest is history. Now I am still a counselor, but an "Attorney and Counselor at Law".
