I was very disappointed in the service. I was surprised by a different person on the day of my wedding who didn't know us. We were hoping for some games as well. But the DJ was pretty clueless. Rob who was supposed to be there didn't even send me a text message saying he's not coming. The new guy tried his best but it was just not the right fit. He told me Rob lost his aunt then told my MIL rob lost his cousin so it was very clear it was a lie. I feel cheated and I will send a complaint to the better business bureau once we're back home.Jul 30, 2018VerifiedCrowd Pleasers Professional Entertainment's reply
We are sorry that you were disappointed in the service you received. Many things were rearranged last minute because Rob’s Aunt Nadine Peake did indeed pass away. We have multiple DJs in our business and apologize if you were expecting Rob to be the one who attended your wedding. While he is the lead administrator/owner and speaks directly to every person who hires us regardless of event type, we do not usually guarantee who your DJ will be since things can happen that require changes. The DJ that was at your event was not new. He has been doing this for several years as well. All details of any texts, conversations, and information entered in the system (playlists etc.) by us or the clients, are shared with the employee that attends your event. We are unsure of what you mean by games as there was nothing in any correspondence with us expressing this wish so that we could be prepared for that. We do special things for many weddings. This is why we give our brides the log in information to the system so that the wedding timeline, special music requests, and any additional information such as games you would have liked to play could have been listed and accommodated. You booked April 30th for your July 21st wedding and your log in information was sent that day (April 30th). This information was sent to you again on the 9th of July. We understand that you informed us of an accident 3 weeks before your wedding and were unable to get to everything. However, we did go out of our way to edit together some last minute music that was requested by you that was not received until two days before your wedding. That list was also incomplete. Our employee did inform us that this was not even used. On July 16th your groom sent in a Spotify playlist that we assured him would be added to the music to be played during your reception. Our employee informed us that every time he tried to play a song from the list provided he was asked by you to change the song. We ask that all music requests, do not play requests, as well as any other special requests are turned in two weeks in advance as we do several events and are usually booked 7 days a week. We hate to hear that you were unhappy but at the same time we did the best we could with what little information you provided about what you expected.
100% would recommend him for all of your DJ needs! To start, he arrived early to set up and was very professional. His website allowed us to easily add “must play” songs for our wedding beforehand. During the wedding, his music selection kept the guests happily dancing on the dance floor. I couldn’t have asked for a better wedding DJ than him.Nov 22, 2017Verified
