Latest Review: I’ve known David Eubanks since 2009. I was 33 at the time. In January of that year, David began work as the youth pastor at the church I was attending. That same month, my wife of nearly 10 years (now ex-wife) revealed to me that she had feelings for another man and that his feelings for her were mutual. God placed David in my life at the exact time when I needed a spiritual mentor, life coach, and a caring friend. Devastated and emasculated by my ex-wife’s actions, I needed someone to walk with me in the grieving process, help me find my strength and identity again, and basically father me through the hardest thing I’d ever experienced. David’s counsel and advice is always encouraging, practical, and loving. He has the gift of being very intuitive when it comes to human nature and relationships; helping you understand what drives people’s actions and reactions including your known. David has a wealth of knowledge and wisdom gained from his years of interacting with others in his various roles in ministry. He is always ready with a creative analogy or relevant story from his own life experiences to help edify and build up.
I would not be the confident, well adjusted man I am today if it had not been for David. Nine years later, and David has walked with me through many of life’s trials, difficulties, and victories including:
- my 4 years of being unhappily single again after the divorce
- fathering my own kids as a single dad
- finding, courting, and marrying my beautiful and charming 2nd wife
- and the overwhelming experience of raising a blending family of 7 (which includes 5 daughters!)
Because of all that David has meant to me as my mentor and life coach, it was extremely fitting that he officiate our wedding. It could not have been more of a blessing for me and my wife to have him do so.
