- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Every Client is different, Every Event is different. There are so many variables that go into what we do that it is very tough to give out pricing!! That is not a way to get around giving out $$$ Signs. It is however, a way of saying...we are not a "Cookie Cutter" business. We are not a "DJ in a Box" Business. This is NOT where you just have to settle and get what you get...With SSSE, you get what YOU want!! We create and design a Event Package the way that you want it, within YOUR budget.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My continued education comes every week when we hit the road and go to our next stop. Every week is a new experience and we continually learn new things as we go along. That is one of the great things about this job... Always fun...Always exciting!
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started working at a local radio station when I was 16 years old. I would sit at the controls working a late night shift doing nothing but "watching" over things...the station was on full "auto pilot" all I had to do was push a few buttons and make sure that everything stayed operational. I took that opportunity to learn everything I could about the equipment and how it worked...I would go to the studio during the day and sit in with the DJ's that were on the air and learn from them...As time went on, they put me behind the microphone and let me start doing some "on air" work and it just took off from there. I later started booking live shows and doing a lot of Emcee work and live Dj'ing and as they say..."The rest is history." Here we are all these years later doing our thing and blessed beyond measure.
