Its not complicated at all, just explain to the customer how much it will cost to supply material for the job plus your hourly rate or a bid for the total job, always show customers receipts for purchased items and make sure both you and the customer agree on a price before any work begins, this way there is never any confusion
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Constantly learning new techniques on finishing or texturing ceilings and walls so we can offer our customers alternatives to a boring flat finish, also keeping up with the latest electrical codes and energy saving appliances or light fixtures to help our customers homes remain more efficient is a must
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I didn't decide to get into this line of work, it decided for me, I've tried other types of employment over the years but nothing ever felt right or was as fulfilling as this, i just really enjoy what i do
