- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I was a structural engineer in Bethesda, MD and was laid off in 2009 when the market crashed. I had put myself through school as a carpenter since I had been working as one for many years. The very next day somebody heard I had been laid off and asked if I could renovate their kitchen. I never sent out another resume after that project.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Additions, decks, screened porches, bathrooms and kitchens. We also do smaller projects such as siding repair and window and door replacement.
