This is the second time we have hired John and crew in the past year or so. This time they are redoing a kitchen and the siding on our rental house. Once again, they have been so excellent to work with. Very honest, bid was exactly what the job cost, and the work is impeccable. We cannot speak highly enough of John and his crew. Just great.

Highly recommend. John is an excellent carpenter. He installed doors, windows, wood floor, porch and some cabinet work on our 1927 built home. His prices are fair, and he is honest and was sensitive to our questions and concerns. He communicated with us regularly throughout the renovation, and his work is very high quality. We will use him again in the future.

John did an excellent job on the handrailing on my stairs. He replaced what I had with a much more updated look. I wanted wrought iron instead of wood for the balusters and he gave me an estimate that I accepted. He had done them before and helped me decide on a design that I liked. I couldn't be happier with them and they make my townhome look so much more updated.

The guys at Pepperidge Const. did such a good job of installing my trim I had them go ahead and take care of new kitchen cabinets and my master bathroom also. They do excellent work and helped me with the whole process from start to finish. They are knowledgeable and professional and I will absolutely hire them again when we are ready to rebuild our deck and outdoor living area. Kimberly

Substandard work, Unprofessional, Unresponsive, Refused to fix problems, Overpriced
Pepperidge Construction's reply
The homeowner damaged the flooring moving the furniture back into the room. The damaged piece was in the center of the room and happened after the flooring was completed and we were working on a different area of their house. We gave them a price to pull the newly installed floor back up, replace the piece they damaged, and reinstall the flooring, adding that once we pull the floor up we couldn't guarantee that we would be able to use the same pieces again and that they would probably have to buy more. We explained to her that since they didn't want to pay us to move the furniture then we were not responsible for the damage that they caused, but would fix it at a discounted price. They did not want to pay for the repair or for any extra material, insisting that we perform the labor and pay for any materials out of pocket. In addition to that they asked two of my employes to perform additional work after hours for cash at risk of losing their jobs. We make every effort to do quality work at reasonable prices and even took less payment than the contract was for in an attempt to please them, but apparently you can't make everyone happy.
