Brothers Ross painted my oak kitchen cabinets a beautiful cream color, sanding, priming and painting, and they turned out fabulous. They did them timely as I was in a time crunch, and did a beautiful job.
He was very responsive to my requests from beginning. He was very prompt and showed at the exact time he promised. I showed him what I needed done and he promptly went to work installing under cabinet lights and in multiple closets. He completed Putting together 2 bookcase/cabinets that needed to be lifted/placed upon the lower part and did a great job . Also did paint touch up and put trim back on the cabinets. He went to Lowe's to help me purchase shelving for closets and did a most excellent job. With installing multiple wire shelves. I would highly recommend Santiago for anything needing repair or installation. He is professional and can do just about anything in your home. He was neat in all he did. I would absolutely call him in future for anything I would need done. He is now my go to guy..
Ronnie was a pleasure to work with. He was very quick to respond and arrived promptly for our initial consultation. He was knowledgable and helpful in areas where I asked for advice. I received a quote in a timely manner and it was a comparable to other quotes I had gotten with even better value. Ronnie was able to schedule my project quickly and finish in the timeframe he had outlined. His crew was always working when they said they would be and were considerate of our property. We had him paint the entire main floor, including kitchen cabinets. He and his crew exceeded my expectations. I would highly recommend Akins Painting and will certainly use them again in the future.
Mike is very professional. His craftsmanship is excellent and his prices reasonable. We commissioned a kitchen table. We enjoy it every day. Thank you Mike!
We initially hired Mark to do some some minor interior work on the upstairs unit of a duplex that we purchased for a rental. After evaluating the original project further, he made us aware of a lot of work the previous owner had done that was not done to code and in fact posed safety problems. We gained a great deal of confidence in Mark's work and opinions and in the end, we hired him to completely redo most of the upstairs and all of the downstairs unit. He took the spaces down to the studs, created new walls, installed an extensive fire and sound barrier between the two units, installed all new sheetrock, completely replaced all electrical, plumbing, HVAC, windows, doors. He laid tile in the bathrooms and helped design and install new kitchens. In addition, he installed all new flooring in both units including woodwork, trim and painted the entire space. On the outside, he did minor landscaping, laid a gravel driveway and subsequent walkway to the lower unit, and completely rebuilt a two story deck off the back of both units thereby increasing the outdoor living space for our future tenants. The decks alone were a feat of engineering - this was not just my opinion but the opinion of the building inspector. Through all of it, Mark was a pleasure to work with and always sensitive to our ever growing budget as we made change after change. He allowed us to be involved as much or as little as we wanted in order to safe money on the project. He even came up with a clever way of creating a laundry unit in both units which greatly increased the appeal of both units. It might bear mentioning that both units rented right away after all the work was completed and we have had no complaints from our new tenants. We have 100% confidence in the work that he does and have recently hired him to do some remodeling on our own home. I don't think there is anything that he and his crew cannot do to the highest professional standard.
My house looks fabulous!! He was there every day no matter the weather. He did tile, the cabinets he did everything! I was so impressed with his work! He finished the whole house from the ground up in no time. I would highly recommend.
Alex and his crew did a stunning remodel of my master bathroom shower and floors and added backsplash to my kitchen that is equally as beautiful. This review really is a 4.5 but I couldn't figure out how to do that. The reason it is not a 5 is that the frameless glass doors took over 6 weeks to get installed which was out of his control, yet part of the project. I recommend that you work closely with Alex to know exactly what days and times he and is crew are coming so there is no confusion. Even with a few bumps in the road, I couldn't be more pleased with the meticulous work that Alex and his crew did during this remodel. He takes you shopping and helps you pick out your colors and patterns. Alex takes great pride in his work and his attention to detail shows in every inch of the remodel. He and is crew are easy to get along with and the end product is simply fabulous!
We were building a home long-distance and needed to find someone who could do a number of things on our behalf. We researched several companies and landed on Green Acres after speaking with Lynn. She described all of the services she could help us with and assured us she would "treat our home build as if it were her own". New construction can be challenging but it was extra challenging doing it long-distance. Some of the things Lynn's team did for us was to cover & protect with cardboard, all our cabinetry and counters, as the workers were setting things everywhere, avoiding lots of potential damage. They cleaned the construction crud everywhere, even in the floor vents and covered them from further dirt. They washed our windows of all that film/dust that happens before the blinds were hung. After each cleaning trip, we were sent pictures of what shape they found things in and what shape it was after they cleaned it all. In fact, while cleaning one of the bathroom cabinets, Lynn's team found a somewhat hidden crack in the wood, that we may have missed otherwise. We even had a need to "babysit" our plants as we could not move them into the house with no heat. We had a need to ship things to the new address but we weren't set-up to take delivery & Lynn was able to do that and hold onto everything till we could come and get it. The response time was great, we would contact Lynn with a list of things that needed handling and within a couple of days they were at the house taking care of it. Our only mistake was not finding Green Acres early enough in our building process, which would have saved us a lot of worry and agnst. Thank you Lynn for all your help! Jim & Linda Moore
It was great, working with this guy. He renovated a house of mine for a great price! Quick and quality work! I highly recommend him!
We highly recommend Scott and his son, with Upstate Cabinet Finishing. They painted our kitchen and bathroom cabinets and did an excellent job! They were quick, efficient and skilled. They showed up on time each day and finished the job ahead of schedule. We are very happy with our beautifully finished cabinets!
I've known Bill for over 25 years. He has done small jobs for me, like installing new closets or doors. He's also done larger, more intricate work for me like building custom built-ins. He is a wonderful carpenter who is smart and has a good eye. He'll take your design idea and make suggestions that will have your cabinets or bathrooms or whatever looking great. You'll be happy with his work & your final product!
Michael installed a locking mailbox and built storage space in the attic. Michael is great to work with - communicative and on time. The quality of the work was great and added 450 square foot of storage in an attic crawl space. He's coming back to build some custom couches and cabinets.
They did a great job. I would recomend this company for the price and quality on the kitchen cabinet
Brent and his team did a remodeling job for us when we moved to Morganton. They basically gutted the entire kitchen except for appliances and updated cabinets, installed granite, backsplash, lighting and electrical, and created an open floor plan by taking a wall out. They also installed hardwood flooring in the kitchen and living room and updated a set of stairs in the entryway. Brent's team also enclosed the carport into a garage which turned out fantastic as well. To finish the job, they painted the exterior of the house to give it a final update from the original 1970 style. The team was on time and professional and went above and beyond our expectations. Brent managed the project within budget, our only overages were for a few of our last-minute change requests, of which they were accommodating and understanding. Overall a great experience and would definitely recommend Trumade for any job big or small.
Danny has done multiple rennovation/remodeling projects for us. We first employed his services in 2008 and he is still doing a project for us now. His work for us includes complete remodeling of 3 baths, including new heated tile floors and showers, new cabinets and countertops, lighting, new toilets, sinks and hardware, etc. He enlarged our driveway and turnaround. He rebuilt our chimney and completely remodeled our family room and kitchen - new cabinets, appliances, sinks, hardware, windows, and extensive lighting upgrades. He added a small addition to the house with cabinets and a desk area, and installed new hardwood floors in 2 rooms. In addition to these large projects he is always available to do small jobs like changing a light fixture, or repairing rotten framing around a door. He is very competent with many skills so very little work has to be contracted out (like wiring, plumbing, etc). His staff is clean, and polite. He and his staff are nonsmokers and very respectful and careful around the home and job site. He promptly responds to calls or e-mails. We would highly recommend his services and I would personally offer to give comments or references to anyone who inquires through him.
I hired James to install cabinetry in my media room. As a designer, I knew what I wanted. We worked together and came up with a design. He's very professional and the quality workmanship is outstanding. Will be using him in upcoming projects!
We are full renovation company specializing in floors, cabinets, decks and so much more. We pride ourselves in our craftsmanship.
We specialize in cabinets, trim, interior doors, small remodeling, including kitchens and baths, and all handyman work. We do just about anything. We are fully insured.
The greater part of my experience is in quality residential remodeling, repair and restoration. My most refined skills are in custom cabinet and furniture making and woodworking. I enjoy variety (as with handyman tasks, for example) and apply the ethic of quality production to every task at hand.
There are hundreds of cabinet shops and good carpenters. One thing that sets me apart from the rest and that is "design". I have the creative artistic "gift", for lack of better words. Also, I serve my "gift" instead of serving "money" with the opportunity to be creative... money becomes less important. I love what I do. My works will be my legacy, and really, what else is there?
I design and build custom cabinets. I do paint, grade and stain grade cabinets. I do hardwood floors.
Cabinets of the Carolinas' heritage started back in the 1700s when the ancestors of Kenny Witthuhn, the company's founder, emigrated from Europe to the Appalachain region of America, bringing with them two things: a long lineage of woodworking skills and the hope of a better life. Today, we continue in these centuries-old footsteps to offer you the finest cabinetry in the world. Combining classic woodworking techniques and cutting-edge technology, we are dedicated to making our clients' dreams come true.
