Kai is the ultimate physical trainer with extensive knowledge of the human body. I am working out with Kai 3x per week and I have grown stronger and learnt various new movements ranging from hip mobility to breathing exercises to advanced forms of pushups, squats, hip-hinges, back rows, etc. Kai breaks down complex moves/exercises into incremental steps and within a few sessions you see your body doing complicated movements which you thought previously were not possible. I have made a lot of progress and I highly recommend Kai!

My experience with Kai is great. He is super kind, smart, and very easy to work with. Kai very easily met me at my current ability and limits - definitely my favorite day or the week! He has a very diverse skill set with wide ranging knowledge on the whole body. I have had my best exercise experience with Kai - thanks Kai!

Kai is really great. I was really blessed get to work with him. He really knows what he’s doing and how to get the most out of your training session. He’s particularly great with working around injuries and providing functional training. It’s important to look good but it’s even more important to feel strong athletic and healthy. I would definitely train with him again.

Kai is extremely knowledgeable and will go out of his way to be sure his clients get the most out of their sessions. Since working with Kai, I feel better, sleep better and eat healthier. He is sensitive about your goals and works to lead you towards those goals. Hiring Kai has been the best decision I've made in quite some time! Thanks, Kai!

I wish I could chose all items above and Kai is all of them. I'm 67 years old and he knows how to work me, but not over the top. I'm feeling stronger and feel better and have only be working with Kai for two months. Best decision I have made in a long time is to work with Kai

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

$40 for 60 minute initial consultation/movement assessment. $60 for 45 minute session. $75 for hour session. Ask me about discounted package options.

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

I offer a free 30 minute consultation where we discuss goals, health history, and address any concerns about the personal training process. For a small fee, I follow that up with a 30 minute physical assessment/movement screen where I test your range of motion and strength, as well as examine what movement deficits you have. This allows me to better design a great program for you. If it feels like the right fit for both of us, we move on to scheduling our first exercise session!

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I am certified as a personal trainer through the American Council on Exercise (ACE) and have earned specializations in orthopedic exercise and fitness nutrition. I received an A.A.S. degree from Southwestern Community College, and now hold a NC license as a physical therapist assistant. In 2019, I became a MovNat Level 1 instructor as well. On top of that, my continuing education includes scientific shoulder training through the Chek Institute, Falls Prevention, and an Art of Breath certificate.
