- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to set up a time to meet with the family prior to when they would need me to start. Meeting with the pets and the family to go over their routine makes things simpler for everyone and the pets are more comfortable. A smooth transition from home owner to myself is always the goal.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I have experience with all kind of Clients. Some clients need me to care for their pets and home for weeks at a time while Others only need a few check ins.
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
I recently got to spend several days with a family with 3 dogs and a bird. The homeowner explained to me that if I was uncomfortable then I didn't need to open the bird's cage for extended times while they were away. I didn't want to take the bird out of her normal routine so I left her door open and kept her routine as close to the home owner's as possible. By the end of my stay, what is normally a shy bird became social with me and even talked to me a lot. The home owner was pleased and everyone, including myself, enjoyed it!
