I like the fact that they allow you to switch tutors if you want to. Due to scheduling problem on our part, we ended up needing to switch to a different tutor. I simply sent an email and we immediately were given another tutor that fit into my daughter's new schedule. I love Arbor Tutors!
Maritza is very flexible and works equally well with people of all experience levels. She is a naive speaker which helped tremendously when looking for practical application of the language
Outstanding SAT tutor for critical reading/writing. Went above and beyond to find information on new SAT to prepare our son.
John has always been available to help with my daughters' math questions. Both of them love John, and he has helped them enjoy math more. He is able to tutor at a very high and very low level of math. He responds very quickly to requests for dates and accommodates last minute changes in schedule. I think he is priced well and gives good value for the payment. I highly recommend him to anyone searching for a good guy who is a math genius. We used to call him BMG for Bearded Math Genius. Now that he has shaven, we will call him Clean-shaven Math Genius. With or without the beard, he is the best math tutor hands down.
Prompt, helpful, patient and easy to work with.
Mandy has been helping my 11th grader in Algebra II all year. She is great and we don't know what we would do without her. My daughter went from a D to an A. We really appreciate what she does and how hard she works.
I have taught all levels and all subjects in public school setting. I am certified to teach all levels. I do not have a degree in math, but I know it and can teach and tutor in the subject. Sessions would be 1 hour in length.
I was homeschooled, so I know how much of an advantage children get from working one-on-one. I graduated high school with a 3.7 GPA. I make learning fun. My main objective is to have fun while learning. I love everything about tutoring, and I am so proud when my students raise their grades. I believe no child is stupid. They just need their own style of learning.
I am in my 10th year of teaching middle school math, and I enjoy helping students learn. It is really neat when the light bulb comes on. My favorite subject is algebra I, and I would count it a privilege to be able to help you. Get math help in the comfort of your own home, while using interactive whiteboard technology for a great learning experience. Please e-mail or call to set up a time for tutoring or homework help in your elementary or middle school math class or in algebra I.

I'm a graduate with a degree in mathematics, and I offer short-term tutorial services, from elementary to middle and high school students.
I tutor children from first grade to college age in reading, reading comprehension, and writing. I assess the learning style of the student and formulate the lessons around that style. I take a personal interest in each of my students and put together an individual program for success, working closely with their parents and teachers.
Asheville Math is a local small business. We aren't hemmed in by distant corporate policies or bureaucratic rigor as such, we can focus solely on helping people learn math in whatever way works best for them. Many other tutoring centers target wealthy customers - we feel everyone should be able to learn math and work hard to find ways to keep our prices affordable. .
I've been a writer as well as a teacher, with a publlished Young Adult novel to my credit. I'm much more well-read than the average person. When I went back to college in 2001 it had been so long since my last attendance, I had to teach myself algebra, and review even basic math. So, fresh in my mind is the best way to teach the subject.
Will offer as many lessons as you can. Most want piano and Spanish lessons just can't because of scheduling. I offer skype/FaceTime lessons to those who have always wanted lessons.
