Bird's Nest Cleaning

Bobbie, I have been doing deep cleaning for many years now and no one has ever complained to me about the job I did. In fact I have only got great comments about my cleaning abilities or the speed at which I worked. I discussed with you from the beginning that cleaning the stuck on grease on cabinets, hand scrubbing years of wax off all the hard wood floors, washing window inside and out, washing walls , washing ceilings, cleaning all the grout off the bath Rooney tiles that was like getting glue off, cleaning the wash room could not be accomplished in one week. I did not understand that you were moving into the house until the middle of the week in which that was when I sake you if you could give me another week. I realize it has taken me several days to respond to your response but I want to give my response a great deal of thought. I was very surprised to learn you were disappointed in my work for many reasons. Below are just a few. 1. I worked five full days without anyone mentioning to me that my work was not acceptable. In fact, on Wednesday you sent me a text that said, "hey Sharon, the cabinets look amazing but, let's go ahead and get the house done since painters are coming on Thursday." That was a total surprise to me that you had not discussed that with me already. Then on Thursday night you sent me a text that said, "hey Shar, things look things look good!" "What do we owe you tomorrow?" In addition, Ben told me every day how pleased you were with my work and the great job I was doing. On Wednesday, I was still working when you arrived home from work. You clapped your hands and said ," the cabinets and floors are so clean and beautiful. You were so happy and said, " yeah, everything is coming together. You told me that you were so happy to have me there and that you wanted me to work for you long term organizing you house. You told me you also wanted me to clean for you mother and that you would pay me for the hours I worked for her. I had NO IDEA that you had any concerns about my performance until You paid me for the terms you agreed to. If you were no satisfied, you had an obligation to tell me after the first day rather than let me continue To work. 2. I told you when we first meet that the work you wanted done could not be Completed in one week and suggested you think about postponing your move. You said you had painters coming on Thursday, yet said to me in a text that you did the painting. 3. Each day I had to spend time cleaning the floors getting up the dog hair from your five dogs, cat and rabbit. I talked with you about how long it took me to just clean up after the animals which also consisted of cleaning up rabbit saving spread on floor, rabbit poop, cat poop and dog poop. I Thought I understood in our conversation that you would keep all the animals out of the house but, evidence speaks for itself. I also had to move furniture several times while cleaning which was time consuming for me. I asked Ben if he would move the grand piano for Me. He never moved it which delayed the hardwood floors from being cleaned. I did not want to take a chance of damaging your piano. Also, on Thursday I asked Ben if he would mind moving the furniture to the area of the floor already cleaned an when I arrived the furniture had not been moved. 4. I asked Ben on Thursday if he would ask you to be at the house on Friday while I was there so I could discuss progress and priorities with you. He told me you didn't have to work on Friday and you would be at home all day. I was surprised you did work on Friday yet you did not call me so we Could talk. I tried several times calling you to discuss those issues with you but you never answered my call or called me back. I even left you messages asking you to please call me, never getting a call back from you. 5. Your priorities changed daily with no clear direction. You did send me on text telling me to have all light fixtures cleaned and have bathrooms Finished because painters were coming on Saturday. Contrary to what you indicated in one of your text after Friday, I do not use my IPad at work. Neither do I talk on my cell phone. I am not a texting person. I might text 2-5 times a week if it is necessary. 6. I did not tell Ben I took a shower at your house. But, rather I asked Ben if he could have the shower fixed because the shower would not cut off, running constantly and I got soaked and felt like I was in the shower with my clothes on while I spent hours cleaning grout and mold that had been left on the tiles for years off. 7. You did not notify me until 5:30pm on Sunday that you did not want me to come back on Monday. However, even at that time, you did not mention that you were unhappy with anything. I was so happy still at that time at how happy you were with me.yet, it took my husband several hours to clean all the wax and crud off the machine I was using that still failed to get all the wax off. I scrubbed hours on my hands and knees cleaning the floors. I am not super woman, bout I am a great cleaner and the job I do Is done right. 8. In a text you sent to me on Monday you indicated that you have cameras both inside and outside your house recording everything. I encourage You to review the footage from the times I was in your house. I never even took a lunch break. This should answer your questions about how much I worked and you would see I scrubbed floors with my hands in which I have sores on my fingers. I am willing to review the footage with you and address any deficiencies that you identify in my performance. 9. I came to your house to pick up my supplies Monday afternoon as you suggested in a text you sent me on Monday morning, telling me the house would be locked. I have never had a customer accuse me of so many things. I felt that if I talked to you I would make you complaints right. I really wanted to rectify the many many issues you raised. Unfortunately, You would not come to the door and I knocked several times hoping You would finally answer the door. I really believe that my performance had nothing to do with it. I believe you were somehow wanting to get out of paying me for the 41 hours I worked. Bobbie, I have never worked as hard for others as I did for you. You admitted to me that you had scrubbed the shower and scrubbed the floors trying to clean them but nothing you tried worked. You also made it ver clear that you did not want maid companies because they never did a good job. You agreed to a contract price through Thumbtack and I agreed to word a do a good job for you. I told you specifically it was going to talke more than a week to do the job you were asking me to do. Not once during the five days did you complain to me. I have never had complaints. I work for my clients because I like what I do I am extremely sorry you were so unhappy that I could not complete It all for you in five days. I sincerely hope you are able to find someone who can meet your high expectations. Thank you, Bird Nest Cleaning
