Lea and the painters were professional. They arrived on time and started right away. I had my garage painted and drywall repair. My garage look nice and the drywall repair look perfect. Next year, I will hire Rennova to paint my whole house.Aug 22, 2019VerifiedRennova's reply
Thank you so much Frank! It was such a pleasure working with you. We look forward to helping you personalize your new home with your own colors!
She came in an provided full service pre-move work. Had popcorn removed from ceilings, ceilings painted, all walls painted, deep clean of house and windows. Best quote that came in and so good to work with.Aug 1, 2016Verified
Lea is a nice person, however, I feel compelled to say that from the very beginning things went from bad to worse. Did we get the job for free? Yes, however what has not been mentioned are the following facts: Lea bid the job and said it would take 1 day to 1.5 days- She did not start on time ( a day late) do to a tragedy. No issue, we accommodated. The painter was late every single day, except for the last day. My Mother In Law was coming into town (which she knew when the job was quoted) and I was worried about the smell as she is elderly. Lea assured me not to worry as they use special low fume paint. The room still smells like paint and it has been nearly 2 weeks. It took 4 days and the job was not done in the manner it was supposed to be done. I had to pay for a hotel for my Mother in law for 3 nights, between that, the professional cleaners, etc the job was the furthest from free but actually cost me $375.00 more than what was quoted based on all of the mishaps. The paint cans were left open and on the floor when the painter left for the evening and there was paint on the comforter and wood floor. ALL of which pictures were furnished to Lea. Finally, she did, in fact, offer to send the painter back after all was said and done. However, if the professional painter cannot paint a bedroom in 4 days, I am not sure why I would want him to come back. It would have taken a full day to fix all of the mishaps. During the initial bid, I asked pointed and direct questions. You guys sand the window trims to assure the paint does not cake on, correct? I was assured and reassured that was the case. In the middle of the job I walked in and noticed nothing was sanded. I text her to ask, and she assured me they would do it, it didn't get done. There were several drips down all of the crown and the mantel. There was paint left all over the windows, and the inside and outside ceils, there are brush marks, and shadows in the room and the closet never got fully covered. Lastly, I want to say, Lea is a nice person. ALL companies have bad days, I am not negating all of the 5-star reviews, and I was not even going to go into detail, but when you reach out and attack a client who has been gracious, caring and accommodating to all of your companies needs and then you post that your client got a job for "free" its not only not the case, but completely a false depiction of the facts. This job cost me over $1k, and the worst issue is I have to get it scraped, sanded and repainted again... costing me even more time money.Oct 22, 2019Verified
First time using thumbtack and could not be happier with the quality work we received. We contacted Renova. Super last minute and received a quick response!Oct 18, 2019VerifiedRennova's reply
Thank you so much! It was a pleasure working with you!
Great team! Lea was incredibly nice and super easy to work with. She was responsive and offered to come by to look at what needed to be done instead of doing a quote without ever seeing the space like many others we talked to. Her team was great and when we needed a few touchups, she was more than happy to get her team back in.Nov 5, 2019Verified
