Introduction: I have always been categorized as the "outside the box" thinker. This has led me to promotions and the type of manager that creates ideas. I also think the same way when I create art. I give the client different perspectives of design. I give them choices. I break down all the elements of what my clients wants and needs to reach their target market. I love working with people. Starting from the meeting phase and going into a partnership to create wonderful pieces of art/design is a thrill I enjoy. I love creating period. It can be something entirely new or it could be a revamp of an older idea.

I first had the chance to work with Mr. Freeman when I was a project director at NeDeo Press. The first project was for an interior illustration for the book, "Actual Factual Dracula - A Compendium of Vampires," by Theresa Bane. The work was outstanding and on time. The next project was for the role playing game. "Dark Fantasy of Sundrah." In DFoS I hired Mr. Freeman to complete a series of pencil illustrations for a fantasy world. The work he produced for these projects still gain positive responses from my customers, years later. Now I am the founding director of Scaldcrow Games and will gladly use Mr. Freeman again for future projects. What Daniel brings to his work is a love of art the shines through his illustrations. Further, he constantly pushes out of his comfort zone to add new skills to his repertoire.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
You have to stay up on current trends. I have class rooms in a book for the Adobe Programs that I practice on to stay focused. I follow social media for new innovative ideas. I am a part of several illustration and design groups.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I decided in 1983 that I wanted to pursue an art career. I was a sophmore in high school and I had my first art class. I was hooked.
What types of customers have you worked with?
The most common job that I have done is illustrations. I have completed several illustrations for a book called "The dark fantasy of Sundrah". I do graphite portraits of people and pets. The second would be logo and product designs.
