FAQs
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I offer all my students regardless of age, ability and level, top quality lessons in piano and music theory. My experience in teaching students of multicultural backgrounds makes me an adaptable and easy to get along teacher.
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
Piedmont Community College where I am the Head of the Piano Department and a Music Instructor since 2008 hosts an annual event with the name: StepN2theArtZ This year (2012) the theme for our event was: The Dominican Republic and Haiti. I am proud to say that I performed with my colleague Michael Thompson guitarist and Mike Willis on the vibes Latin Music. However I also composed a work for piano which was dedicated to our event StepN2theArtZ. The work is called: An afternoon in Santo Domingo. The proudest moment for me was, when my students came for class after the event and were proud to have me as their College Instructor! - What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
I offer top quality piano and theory lessons as well as ear training. Each student regardless of their level, age, ability, is given the same quality and attention. The lessons are taught in a creative and student centered manner. Students learn how to sight read, and how to improvise their own tunes or melodies.
