FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
For video, and depending upon the shoot, I would charge as little as $25/hour if the project is just taking some footage and putting it together. But if you're looking for green screen, color correction, music, titles, etc. then it could go upwards of $100 an hour. It's a little tough to give you an estimate without knowing more fully what you're looking for. The use of the audio and video equipment would need to be factored in. Are you all looking for a single, or multi-cam shoot? HD, 4K or standard video? Will everything be done in one location or additional locations which would require breakdown and set up? These are just some of the questions that would need to be answered in order to give an accurate quote. Script coverage falls under a different pricing structure.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I LOVE stories. To me, ideas are what makes the world revolve and I just love a good narrative. Whether it's a movie or book, a good story has the ability to make a person feel, and suspend their belief in their reality for the time it takes to get from the beginning to the end. If I can have a hand in helping people bring their ideas conception to realization, then that makes me happy. And why not work in a place that brings you as much joy as it brings your satisfied customers?
- What types of customers have you worked with?
