My experience with Star Globe was amazing! We covered an abundance of warm up exercises and other techniques in our first session. I felt very comfortable with Jay and the relaxed environment that he provides. He is very professional and offers a variety of services from vocal lessons to song writing and studio time. I look forward to seeing my progression and everything that I will accomplish with the help of Star Globe! I definitely give 2 thumbs up!!
Sherry is very professional and flexible with her schedule. She makes her lessons fun and convenient for busy families. My daughter is ten and is having a great time taking vocal lessons from Sherry.
As a 58 yr old beginner violin student, I am so happy to have found James. He is so kind and patient, yet challenges me more with each lesson. He is an amazing musician and well. Very professional & responsive! Highly recommend!
If you love singing but have never felt confident in yourself, Robert Wendell is the instructor for you. Even, if you are a fantastic singer and you just want to expand your vocal capabilities, Robert Wendell is the instructor for you. Robert Wendell has a unique style of teaching that is completely revolutionary in the field of voice instruction. His style and method of teaching will work for ANYONE. He will will cut through all of the beliefs you have about our own singing, and reeducate you on your vocal mechanism. He will unlock the voice in you that is dying to get out. And he'll do it with an extremely educated background and a delightful sense of humor. I have had numerous voice instructors, including instructors in collegiate settings. All of my lessons went the same way. I'd sing, they'd critique, I'd sing a little better, then the lesson would end. The next time I arrived, all of the progress that was made from the last lesson seemed to have vanished, and I'd feel like I was starting over again. I gave up and resigned myself to the thought that I am just one of those people who can't sing. I was wrong and I can sing. The truth is we can ALL sing. My belief in my singing "ability" combined with conventional vocal instruction were the direct causes of my inability improve at singing. After taking vocal instruction with Robert Wendell for less than a year, and I can confidently say now that I am a singer, which is great because I love to sing but never had the confidence to do it before. Take him up on his trial offer. You have nothing to lose, and a beautiful voice you can be confident in to gain. It's worth the risk.
As a Senior taking piano lessons for the first time in life, I find Mrs. Whatley very knowledgeable, patient, and professional. She explains things so I understand and doesn’t rush me into something I am not ready for. I highly recommend her.
Working with Jeffrey is excellent, the time flies by and you learn a lot, he makes you comfortable through all of the exercises and has great feedback and modifications to make. I highly recommend taking voice lessons with him.
I am negotiating with Online Stage School of Performing Arts regarding trial lesson currently.
Ms. Hand is a wonderful piano and voice teacher! I have taken lessons from her for almost a year and I am extremely pleased. In piano she focuses not only on technique but also on theory, and the book we have worked out of is at the appropriate level (something that is often difficult to find with older students). Along with working out of the book I love the fact that she is not against outside pieces. I have been able to play in any styles I have been interested in—everything from jazz to pop to classical. Ms. Hand is very knowledgeable in everything she does and has always been a help if I had any questions regarding technique or theory. She is very personable which is a huge confidence boost when in voice lessons especially since I am generally shy. Similar to piano, Ms. Hand has let me bring in outside songs for voice but we have also worked more ‘classically’ with solfège and other vocal exercises. I have advanced greatly since starting these lessons and I could not recommend her more highly! She has a genuine interest in all her students and has opened up so many opportunities for me that I could not be more thankful for!
Ben is a great guitar player. In my opinion, One of the best in several counties. He sings great and is always early for the gig. I have played with Ben for years and I have learned so much by picking with him. His Band is also great.
Colleen is an amazing teacher!
Very professional and kind. Easy to work with and understanding. Pays attention to students needs and works with them, also on price of lessons.
Margaret has been teaching my kids (7 and 9 years old) for almost a year. They had no prior music experience or lessons. I'm impressed with the pieces they can play now. More importantly they have fun while learning!

My name is Dominique Atwater, B.M.Ed. I have loved music for as long as I can remember, and I cannot wait to spark a passion for music with you or your young singer as your voice teacher! We will have a blast while learning a large variety of music, no matter your level of experience. Each lesson is tailored to the individual student's needs. My studio is a shared space, but my personable style of teaching will make you feel like we're learning in your living room! I have worked with singers from the age of 4-94 (really), and with experience levels ranging from "tone-deaf" to classically trained. No matter where you are musically, please know that you can feel comfortable making music with me. I am the proud owner of a North Carolina teaching license in K-12 music education and have been working in the Cabarrus County School system for one year. I have been teaching voice for two years, and I am enthusiastic to continue. I am fun, patient, and encouraging while I listen and customize lessons for each student. I teach all ages, but for younger students, parents can expect a comfortable waiting area and an open line of communication about your student's progress from me. Students will learn fundamentals as well as improvisational skills, sight-reading skills, and basic piano skills (to assist with practicing at home) for those who are interested. All forms of music are appreciated. I offer lessons in classical, musical theater, pop, jazz, and gospel. Your first lesson is always free with no obligation to continue, although I hope that you'll be thrilled to come back and keep singing together. Contact me soon to request more information or to schedule our first lesson.

My teaching methods are based on years of experience in the arts, in private studios, community programs and overseas. I studied Elementary Education as an undergrad student and use those techniques, and my love for children and education, in every class or piece I develop.
I have been classically trained and have been successful in competitions with many other genres. I was accepted into the Governor's School for the Arts in high school for vocal music and attended the All State Chorus for a total of 7 years. The voice can improve significantly with training and vocal exercising. I am a patient mentor with the belief that anyone who wants to sing can absolutely improve. I have learned and created many techniques to achieve results. In my late middle school years, I struggled to reach second soprano notes, but by the end of my high school career I could hit the highest notes with ease. Music brings color to life and singing is proven to brighten your day. I would love to help someone else to discover and nurture their God-given instrument.
