Marlin did a wonderful job repairing a very scary foundation issue at my home recently. Many years of water damage had resulted in several floor joists and the band joist they connected to rotting out and causing the integrity of a portion of floor in a guest bedroom, and the integrity of a wall to become compromised. Marlin allowed me to accompany him into the crawlspace to evaluate the issue and explained in great detail everything he saw and why it was good/not so good/really bad. He was kind enough to look at the rest of the homes support joists. He drew up a contract for the agreed work items and agreed price, estimated the length of time for the work, and came and did the work promptly. He addressed my concerns throughout the process. I can jump up and down on the floor now with absolutely no concern. He even returned the hardwood floor to day-1 conditions. If you are hesitant to hire someone to fix your floor, or foundation issue, Marlin is so thoughtful and was willing to work with our budget. What I liked the most was how he was able to explain the issue to me in terms that made sense to me. I will recommend him to others needing similar work, and would call him again in the future if necessary. Thanks Marlin and crew!
